Here's the terrain.png so far. Maybe once you guys see more than just those few textures.... *Goes to the corner to cry quietly and hug her baby pack*
(The colors are originally from the MS paint color challenge, btw)
EDIT: Some of these textures, like the pumpkin and glowstone, are very much WIP and are just roughed out at the moment.
EDIT EDIT: Perhaps I should have mentioned this at first, but I'm going for a cartoon RPG style. It's not supposed to look realistic.
It's not supposed to be vector-like....I just wanted it to be crisp, clean pixel art. The 64x resolution was to be able to get nice smooth corners and curves and add details where appropriate. Although yes, some textures need a bit of AA in spots. I don't want to smooth it out too much, though.

So guys, read through the MC Patcher thread, but couldn't find it. How do you change the colour of sky? I don't like the bright blue with my texture pack hehe.
EDIT: dohoho I think I may have found it. Yeah found it. Got some nice, darker and desaturated colours now. Much better.
Now my next question is how does the foliagecolor.png work? I got the grass down but still confused on how the foliage works, Nevermind, I got it. This is fun!

Actually....I really don't have much of an idea what 'vector-like' is. When you say 'vector' I think Sphax. So given that, you may be entirely right.

I would have never thought that a pack from the mspaint challenge would be this good O_o
It looks better than many packs without color restrictions.

you have to start with sky1.properties

Thank you so much, my horizontal log effect had some very weird problems that I didn't know how to get around, but with this I can easily fix that.
Edit: I just found another problem. Your top log CTM requires that a side-log texture be put on parts of it, but I want to apply horizontal log effects to all four types of logs.
Is this impossible?

With this knowledge, I can also fix some slight issues with my pillars.
Edit3: But applying this to the top log texture would require having multiple property files for the same tile, which would require them to have the same name, which is impossible.
You can apply properties to blocks instead of tiles.
You can also have multiple properties on the same block ex:
block64.properties
block64a.properties
block64b.properties
(latest patcher required)
I don't know... i spend 2 days on it, but there's something about it i don't quite like... i want to tweak it a bit but im not sure what to tweak. the corners perhaps? do the filaments look too much like dollar signs making it seem like its meant to be money themed in an odd way? or is it just me?
