Now I'm seriously considering starting a soundpack that's separate from Triton. I've had such a thing in the works for a while now, with logo and working title, but all these new sound events are what's making me seriously consider doing it. Vanilla Minecraft's SFX aren't much better than its graphics... (maybe a touch more professional though). They could use improvement just like the textures.
Any of you folks looking to utilize these new sound events?
There are 2 things i don't know, maybe someone can help me out there:
Files 1.8.8/assets/minecraft/textures/gui/icons.png and 15w45a/assets/minecraft/textures/gui/icons.png differ
2 new armor outlines?, 2 attack charge indicators (each will full + empty states)

I checked my update notes (for the 2 new armor outlines) and they were added in either 15w34a or 15w34b but I cannot see where they are actually used in the game.
The two new squares in the widgets.png are for the off hand slot, left box for the left hand and the right box for the right hand (when used as the off hand).
Now that the 1.9 pre-release has come out, would one of you wonderful people mind creating a 1.8 > 1.9 list for those of us who are lagging behind on these changes? Thank you in advance.

I can try to get something together tomorrow if no one does it by then. I won't be able to get much done tonight, as there are quite a few changes, and to delay things even further it seems that 1.9-pre1 recent version was compiled by a Unix system instead of a Windows like 1.8.9, and my diff program refuses to ignore that fact when listing changed files.
Edit: okay, I convinced it to ignore the Windows/Unix line break difference. A list of changes besides line break type should be coming sometime tomorrow. Until then, here is a raw list of changes
Edit 2: I have been busier than I originally expected on Thursday, so I only finished about a third of the list so far. I'll hopefully have the full list ready to post sometime on Friday
