I quite like the smooth sandstone, quite sexy for pillars I would assume :3
That was the idea. Minecraft has a lot of blocks that are horizontally aligned, but not many verticality aligned ones. That makes it pretty hard to get good pillars going.
I like the "mossy cobblestone", but the slots look like symbols, and I keep trying to read them. Also It's hard to make out where your hotbar is.
Thanks!
I'll see what it looks like with a more constant design for the slots, and I'll definitely make some definition between the Hot-bar and inventory (I'm thinking hot-key numbers would be good).
Thanks!

Numbers.....? I dunno, add something more original....numbers are sorta "cheap" IMO.
um.... how bout a little engraving (looking like what I've got now) of a Chinese dragon that goes along the hot-bar!
That would be cool....or maybe you can make the hotbar the square symbol thats at the "output" of the crafting square right now and make the inventory another symbol, and make the armor a different symbol, and the crafting square a different symbol (a unique symbol for each "group").
and also some of the items don't really fit the symbol, and some (seeds) are not really visible. I don't know what you can do about that, aside from making the symbols lighter and simpler (maybe just a square with some variants), but I don't know how that would turn out. Maybe you should remove a row of "bricks" from the bottom of the hotbar, as some items encroach on the design.
Hopefully within the next three weeks. I've only got on more exam till I've finished this semester at collage
I'm mostly done with the terrain and I have the assets for finishing my GUI. I need to do allot of work on my Mobs. When I have about 80% of textures done, I'll probably release, then start working on alternate textures and a customiser.
I have revamped the original post with a whole bunch of screen-shots of better quality and more recent textures. I've also added some info.
I'd appreciate any feedback on the new stuff.

Any thoughts? It's just a rough draft ATM, final one will have less repeating patterns.

What do you think?
It's really nice, I like it
But the armor outlines conflict with the symbols, you should probably remove them (just from the armor slots).
Twas already on my list.

Thank you x2.
The grass is controlled with biome colours. It's definitely one of my favourite parts so far.
