I love lost-valley for singleplayer. it really gives SP that alone feeling. Terrible for multiplayer(doesnt mean change it for mp! lol) lost valley earns a 9/10 OMG UPDATE FOR 1.2.3 PLOX
Hi! I just realized your texture packs are AWESOME (I saw your sig in my forum post) and I was wondering if I could use some of your textures in my Modpack. Thank you! I will add this into permissions once you say yes or no. If yes, I will take a screenshot. If no, then I guess it's just no. Thank you!
(I haven't decided on what textures I want yet, I will put the textures I want in my post of "Planned to Be" textures, they will not be actually in the modpack unless you say yes)

Thank you very much for having the consideration to ask my permission, but I'm afraid I'm going to have to say no. My textures have a habit of wandering away and ending up where I don't want them if I let anyone feature them in their remix/modpack-- some people seem to see remixes/modpacks as fair game to take what they want texture-wise. Sorry.
I love all these packs. My only problem is deciding which one to use. If only I could texture even a hundredth of how well you do. My own attempts have failed for the most part.

It's fine. I don't really care; I'm still asking for permission to use all of those mods! xD
I simply adore your enchanted texture pack Steel, so much so I am working hard to fix textures together for the BTB mod so I can use it in a lets play (private use only, only link that will be given out is to your work so people can enjoy it as much as I am) However what sold me most on your pack was actually your Mooshroom texture which i had fun playing with to use with Random Mobs:
.....my mind is completely and utterly blown. Assassini has been averaging 500 dl's a day-- which is 200 more than Enchanted's 300 a day. WHY DO YOU PEOPLE LIKE MY OLD CRAP???
Assassini probably comes up when people look up Assassin's Creed minecraft texture pack or something like that.
Steelfeathers' Enchanted is probably going to bring up less results because ultimately few people directly search for a pack by your name.
Also consider the fact that the majority of people don't honestly know how to evaluate the grade or quality of pixel art. They see a pack that reminds them of something like and they'll use it.
Assassini: 182,000
Doll House: 95,000
FeatherSong: 58,000
Iridescent Dreams: 6,458
Enchanted: 384,000 (The most impressive part about this one is that the last update alone has over 100k dl's)
Thanks to all the fans who downloaded! You guys are fantastic! (And you help pay my college bills through adfly <3)

hmm... I wonder if I could maybe convince all of my nerd friends to just repeatedly click your adfly links over and over again for about... idk... an hour? just to see what happens. Well anyways, here is me yet again saying that you are an incredible artist, and my personal favorite on these forums. Thank you for spending all of your time creating pretty pictures for us to enjoy.
I am currently working on a reskin of Railcraft; I might pay some attention to your own work soon. Most likely, I might try to create skin support for your Italianate, E nchanted and Lost Valley packs.
I was wondering if I could possibly "adopt" the Enchanted pack as my own, ie work on it in collaboration with you. I like the concept, and also am trying to get away from the pseudo-mediaeval feel that Dokucraft often imposes on its users.
These are my current ideas for your texture packs:
ITALIANATE
We can transfer the GUI skins I created a few weeks ago over for the Enchanted skinpack to the Renaissance texture pack. I'm not too sure how to handle the Asassin's Creed texture pack, so I'd rather refrain from working on that one. I will also craft some textures for the terrain.png file, but, mind you, I will go no further.
ENCHANTED
On the other hand, for the Enchanted pack a new and revamped edition, meant to reflect traditional 19th century redbrick architecture, will be put in place to replace the old baroque-looking designs.
Unlike the old Enchanted pack style, which involved a minimalist approach, the Victorian theme of the skins I am envisioning will involve some themed content. For instance, some of the GUIs will use timber for their appearance, others cobblestone, depending on the function of the GUI. We will try to keep it as a quasi-medieval fantasy pack, though, although we know that the Victorians were great medieval fantasists themselves...
The pictures aren't links. Click on the titles.

Assassini - 136,000

Lost Valley - 56,000
Iridescent - 927

I would, but I'm feeling too lazy at the moment.
Sure. Now where did I put that thing...

As you can see, only packs currently being updated are represented. So long, Lost Valley.
EDIT: I haven't taken down the old one, but it IS a little busy, so for those of you who'd like a more minimalist look I whipped up the one below.
