1.10 snapshots have started and I will endeavour to keep the Showcase following them. I have added much of the content but have not added the new mineshafts and terrain updates. They will come soon, as soon as I find them on the map. As always comments are sincerely welcome.
The Showcase is an excellent way to verify your resource pack. It has a section for verify your textures look good together and have minimal tiling, a section of a small town to verify your textures look good in builds, a section showing all art works, and a section to create an all blocks screenshot. I have added an Item Gallery using item frames. Because they cause lag I have isolated them far from the main showcase area. Kabanos has worked hard to make this map as useful as possible.
Ok so Kab discontinued it so you are contuining it?
Not quite, Kab is taking time off, the trouble is he does not know for how long. I have been helping him with the Showcase for a while, so I am continuing on alone, and because we are having trouble with updates we decided to start a new thread.

This is great, thanks! I’ve been using it, and have a couple of suggestions, which I’ve implemented in my world, and would be willing to contribute but I suspect you don't need it. Let me know.
(*) There is no display area of iron bars. I added one on the area to the left of the clay, which included a singleton, a standalone pair, and a two-level corner.
(*) A small rail loop with a running cart helps evaluate rail textures. Watching the cart transit across tracks is part of making it look right. The looping cart could trigger the power to an activator rail and a powered rail so you cam see them turn off and on. A very small loop could do this well. (Putting a villager in the cart would be amusing, and gives it momentum, fwiw.)
(*) I put the dragon egg up on a fence post so I could see the texture on the bottom of the egg, that was very helpful.
Also, the mob area is pretty well hidden, it took me some time to notice it. It has a very nice, dramatic entrance via the Nether area, but that is also unmarked. I’d add “Mobs” to the sign, and then add a sign at the beginning of the entry way from there. (Yes I am aware of the labelled entrance near the art museum, but it is pretty obscure, and drops you into an odd corner of the place.) I think it might be nice to set that entrance up as a major architectural feature, maybe near the museum, opposite from the houses, but I don't have the world editor skills to do this myself. There’s a lot of work in there, and it’s sad to see it hidden.
You might want to remove the first picture in there as it seems you are claiming a resource pack that is not your own. It is Chroma Hills. I don't believe it was purposeful, I just don't think Syclone would like it being there.

Now this is an interesting issue. The pack is not mine. I also have no idea of how it was developed. I will check. Thank you.
EDIT: You are completely correct. The first image was Chroma Hills and I have corrected the post. Teach me to recycle screenshots taken by other people. I was not careful. I apologise.
The showcase is updated for 1.7 to the point I wanted long ago. As stated in the post, situations prevented me completing the updates earlier. I am actively working on the 1.8 version now. I can only apologise for the delay.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Mate.
For those interested the 1.7.0 version is available. I am not the best spatial person so please let me know what can be improved.
