Hey guys, so I am currently making the rest of the GUIs for my 16x resource pack And Miles to go Until I Sleep and I just cannot find the hotbar texture. I would have assumed it would be in the gui folder but I cannot find it. Anyone know where it is located?
It is indeed located in the GUI folder, as "gui.png", accompanied by the menu buttons. Perhaps your pack lacks that image somehow? Just extract the default textures for it if your pack doesn't have it.

Hmm that is strange. I do not have a "gui.png" file in my pack, and when I went to the default textures from the 1.6.4 .jar I did not have a "gui.png" file either.... Umm, you got a download or something to one of those files?
UPDATE: Silly corner_g there is no "gui.png" file anymore, 1.6 changed that file to "widgets.png"

My copy of Definitance, Serene Scape, Homelands and Redefined have no "widgets.png". They still have a "gui.png", and it still functions fine. Is it possible both names work?

I just checked the version of Definitance that I downloaded and it totally does have a "widgets.png" in the /gui/ folder. Also, I don't see a "gui.png".
Is it possible your working copy has a different file name than the one used in the pack? I have a lot of these because I save everything out in a layered format.

yup yup, gui.png was renamed to widgets.png, it's the same in SixtyGig. I didn't even notice until now since I haven't touched my GUI since 1.5 hehe

Apparently it is possible, also I downloaded Definitance today and checked. It does have a widgets.png.
i try to edit the hotbar there, and nothing happens.
