My folder called 5 hour glass fix contains assets, pack.mcmeta, and pack.png. The assets folder is exactly the same, except it has my edited glass.png in it. I then compressed '5 hour glass fix' into a .zip, and placed that in the resourcepacks folder. I booted up minecraft, went to options, clicked resourcepacks, and its not there...

Compress the contents of your folder, not the folder itself. When you open your .zip file, you should immediately see the /assets/ folder and the pack.mcmeta file. You should not have to click on another folder to see them.
Well, I've been working on anther project so I had closed this, but now I'm back to say that it is working. However now I need to figure out how to make the glass transparent again haha. I've used two separate programs to get rid of the lines on the glass, and also try to get it see through, but in the end it just becomes all filled in one single color.

Any suggestions on that?
Use a program that supports transparency. GIMP or Paint.net both do, and are both free.
Minus my change log and logo >.>;
Any suggestions on that?
