Hey I really need help with this.
So..... I am making a grayscale pack (You guys probably think its the worse idea ever...) BUT! There may be some use, you guys never know Now, I am a noob with McPatcher, and so far, this is where I got to:
Now if I may, I would like to direct your attention to the bottom of the picture. (Ignore the grayscale textures, I will fix those).
I know you could use skyboxes, but if anyone knows, is there a way to make a grayscale skybox?
(I would like to apologize for my nooby skills, I'll try to improve the best I can)
Try using the custom colors mod: create a new image 256x256, color it whatever color you want it to be, and name it skycolor0 in your misc folder. This is a biome pallete, meaning in different areas of the square different pixels define different sky colors in different biomes. A better understanding and template: http://www.minecraft...ate-up-to-date/. I'd suggest not using a skybox, because it takes a lot of memory. For the fog, use the same steps, but instead name it fogcolor0.
Need anymore help?
EDIT: wow, I think thats a record! 4 "differents" in a sentance!

1. Already did that, that's why sky is gray
2. What is the fog color BTW?

The fogcolor0 file is the same as the skycolor0, except it is the color of the fog you see on the horizon. This may be your problem
Edit: after reviewing the op, I'm not sure what your problem is. Is it that you want to create a skybox, or is it that blue line at the horizon, or am I missing it completely?
It's the blue line on the horizon I'm trying to fix.
So fog, will change the horizon from blue to gray if I change it to gray?
Or am I just fine using skycolor0?
