This is a simple retexture of Minecraft, nothing really great yet, but once me and Showers finish the overall texture pack itself, we'll work on re-defining the pixels to make it look a bit more like the defualt pack, just not-so default.
With that said, here's the link. I won't edit or say much unless you reply to this, because there will be a changelog in each update, telling you everything.

NOTE: The changelog is in development. Once the actual format is done, we'll make it a lot more organized, even though it already is. We are going to be working on a map. It's a tour of the texture pack and it's features.
Actually, my mom has an interest in gemology; and like most nerds, enjoys droning on about it endlessly. (I'm the same way about certain things. Guess it runs in the family) This is also how I know that diamonds can be virtually any color. Literally, there's no "wrong" color for diamonds to be... including the classic Minecraft blue.

I see. Well, I guess there's nothing wrong with this idea. But it has been done SO many times before.

It's not the idea that's the problem... it's that it makes a crummy basis for a texture pack. It's a good idea to include in a texture pack to add a bit more stylistic flare... but not a concept for a pack in and of itself.
In other words, start by making a good texture pack and then add red diamonds. Not the other way around. Since there's no pics available, and the download was removed, that's really the only advice I can offer to the OP.

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
Alpha 1.0.4
Explain why it's a good idea.
And isn't red diamond just ruby?
(I'm actually serious about that. Look it up.)
How do you know these things?
