I... think I might actually try this.
This will be scary, my first textures where I do not use the default palette.
Hopefully this will turn out better than my previous attempt at a non-pattern texture pack.
Let's see if hanging around people doing spectacular art in TAU over the last half-year has caused any of their talent to rub off on me.

Theevilpplz is so fabulous, hetrosexual men turn bi when he passes by.
Are a small amount of reused textures alright? I got one that works for 3 different things...
Reused in what way? If they're from another pack, no. If it's, say, a plank texture, and you want to recolor it for the other planks, then feel free. I'm doing the same thing for several of my textures.

Welcome to the party!

So, I got cobblestone(Left) and Stone Bricks(Right), and their mossy counterparts that I'm, for the most part, happy(ish) with. They are very similar, though...
EDIT: Okay. I just noticed, that, somehow, Mossy Cobblestone is also in Mossy Stone Bricks... I put down the wrong block... *facewall* Fixed
you must of read my mind cus i had the exact same idea for the stone bricks

Spoilered because more of an answer than a showoff. Dirt, Stone, and Obsidian. Though, it doesn't really look right as obsidian, I don't think...
Apparently my paint has a different palette I think...
Those colors look like they've been edited sometime in the past. Paint usually comes with a color palette with colors similar to the ones on the first page, and laid out in approximately the same way. This one has too many in-between colors, and they're all mixed in with each other, so it has to be user-edited.

That's perfectly fine, it you want to do that. Although I do agree that the obsidian doesn't look quite right.
Is it a family computer? If so, it's entirely possible that someone else has. If not....well, I don't know. You can use it if you want, I suppose, but the colors are a bit strange.

I'm the only one who uses this old relic.. I'm the only one who ever used it...
Meh... I'll use the normal palette then... after I finish this irritating 64x sand texture!
Oh god, 2012 IS the end of the world... EVERYONE RUN FO-- Well, ****.

I do think that would actually distract me from my work.
Anyway, attempt away!

I haven't touched it...

Haha, love the green jungle wood.
Don't....make it bricky? Pics would be helpful.
After over a year of "texturing", you now see my true shame that is lack of talent
If anyone wants to use some of my textures, granted steelfeathers' permission, they're below. Otherwise, just be inspired by them.
I started to go for a weird/alien feel, but never finished. oh well
