Taking it from the top! Left, that is. Any ideas for grass? I was thinking PS1's outside of the town in the first scene, or the PS3 Inside a town grass. But I'll use something else, if want be.
Would you care to post some screenshots of what you're talking about. I don't happen to have my copy of Phantasy Star Collection handy at the moment, and I'm betting than neither does anyone else. :smile.gif:
Hmmm... a lot of the textures on that sheet are ready made for Minecraft. A few others need just a bit of editing.
The grass textures all look pretty much the same, so you can basically just pick one. I don't think it makes that big a difference. :smile.gif:
May I suggest you stick to a single Phantasy Star for you pack? The quality of the texture work improves as the series goes along, and it would be a bit jarring to use the grass from this sheet and, say, a much more detailed brick from PS3.
True for the single series, very much so.. but the textures are actually MUCH larger than Minecraft's, pixel by pixel.
Hmm... perhaps I'll make four seperate packs (that should be good at taking up time) and pick whichever feels the most suited for the map.
Gad... sorry I have (and will) be rather busy for now... many of the tetures have only one logical/possible choice, and I'll need to do others that weren't in Phantasy Star (dirt, for example) I'll try to keep anyone watching this topic informed as often as plausible.
I will be removing this thread. Further updates on this topic will be postponed until Painterly (what I based the TP off of) supports Technic (what the map will be based off of)

with the PS1 grass included.
Sorry, the post was being glitchy.
