Well, we have made this weekend the time for us to update the thread. we wont be alphabetizing it, but we will still be organizing it to a degree ie: spoilers, more defined sections, less clutter, etc... This of course will take time, I ask everyone who reads this to PLEASE refrain from posting a texture pack until the thread is finished! Until then, checkout the texture packs that are there and post your questions, comments, and support here in the thread. =D
How are you gonna be organizing the texture packs again? Like are you gonna be doing it by like resolution first then refining it by types like 'simple', 'cartoon', 'photorealistic'?
Could you please take down the bropaint link? I can't access it or maybe I just have a bad version of the Minecraft Forums...

Don't worry, all problems will be fixed =). Though, I am not sure when just yet, I might be unavailable all next week and possibly the week after, so much stuff is occurring at once right now, sorry for all of the delays D=

I'll be off school for the next 2 weeks so I'll be able to do something.
while i applaud the effort for making a directory of the texture packs, i do not applaud the use of clickmetogivememoney links to just transfer the user to the texture pack thread.
with that said, nice work so far on the directory, but shame on you for the clickmetogivememoney links just to transfer someone to the right thread.
1) this thread already exists.
2) Steelfeathers Enchanted, Lost Valley, and Assassini are all missing. All are 32x, so perhaps the entire 32x section is missing.
3) Wut..?
This is the thread. It was passed to blaz by Lilyo.
* Btw, just to clarify, I have gotten a few PMs like "why is the OP kind of messy" and things like that, well, basically that was a mistake, I meant to hit preview post instead of submit =P
So, I won't do anything about it right now, just let me finish what I already have done and it will look finished, haha =P

Wind Waker Texture Pack and for Pocket Edition! ~ Texture Pack Central - Large directory of Texture Packs!
While i will admit my last post here wasn't helpful to say the least. So I decided I would at least try to contribute to the overall project. So here it is. Instead of making one huge directory, why not make several small ones instead. Let me try to explain what I mean. Having individual threads for the specific size of texture pack could be more easier to do and maintain then having them all in one place.
Example Threads:
8x Texture Pack Only - Only 8x texture packs will be in this thread
16x Texture Pack Only - Only 16x texture packs will be in this thread
32x Texture Pack Only - Only 32x texture packs will be in this thread
64x Texture Pack Only - Only 64x Texture packs will be in this thread
128x Texture Pack Only - Only 128x texture packs will be in this thread
256x Texture Pack Only - Only 256x texture packs will be in this thread
512x Texture Pack Only - Only 512x texture packs will be in this thread
All Sizes Texture Packs - For texture packs containing multiple sizes
I think that doing a directory in this way would be way more easy to maintain and keep updated than one large thread and it will help people who are only looking for a certain size texture pack. But this is the important part to the puzzle and it is the:
Submission Texture Pack Thread - Only Submissions for texture packs to be allowed in this thread.
having a submission thread will keep the other threads clear of old posts and wrong placed submissions - even might see if you can get a mod to lock the other threads so that only the OG poster who is doing the updates can access it so that it will be nice and neat and clean.
well this is what i was thinking and what i would do if i was trying to make a texture pack directory and also you should make sure people say what version their texture pack is for, there are many out there that are 1.8 and lower and not up to 1.0.0 standards

Well, I am going to add spoilers to all of the threads, and also have Anchors to each texture pack resolution. So, a good example of a half-finished example would be the second post, whereas if you show the spoiler, and click on one of the sizes, it goes directly there in the post and you can scroll from there =)
Though, I am thinking instead of having that Anchor thing, I will have separate spoilers for each resolution, it is cleaner and easier that way I think. So, I am going to test out both ways and see what works more effectively once I finish up the first post (which is almost done, have been working on it for a while now)
Anyway, thanks for your feedback! <3

Why would you add spoiler to each thread. That completely ruins the point of the display image. @tiio, having 10 different threads would't make anything easier...

I am only adding spoilers to a category of resolutions, not each individual one. =) This makes it less clustery and if they are looking for a texture pack for that resolution, they can open a spoiler instead of being bombarded with every texture pack imagineable that they probably couldn't even use if they had a bad computer.
Ok, something funky is going on, most of the time when I view this page I see the old version of the post, and on the rare occasion do I see the polished version I just finished. I am glad I made a backup of the post, but it keeps reverting for some reason >.<
