I'm done with the terrain of my pack and it's all set and ready to go. Yet, i have almost no idea to make the zip file for my pack. What files do i put into if i want others to dl it? Pictures on how to do this would be nice. I've been using steelfeathers all inclusive guide to texturing and it talks a little bit about it, but doesn't fully explain.
Like I said, pictures of creating a zip file would be nice, including what files to put into it.
thanks
P.S. I'm also having trouble fixing this problem : with my chests, when you destroy them, they shoot out tiny blocks, like usual, but mine are what i set the "UNUSED textures to, like the open space, or the pink blocks" Help? BTW, i left the chest area left alone in the terrain.png file, and made them pink, i think this might be the problem, but im not sure. But I did edit the chests in items.png :/
If you've got WinRAR or 7Zip, your best bet is to open the minecraft.jar and look at the folder structure (ignore the class files). Your terrain.png should just go straight into the zip folder, but everything else needs to be in subfolders. The items.png should go in a folder called 'gui', mob textures go in the 'mob' folder and armour goes in the 'armor' folder. There are other files, but those are the main ones.
There is a very nice pinned topic at the top of the forum that has all the info you could ever want about making texture packs. You should open your damned eyes and read it.

Then what files do i place in there? I would assume in not just the terrain.png.
