Waaaay back in 1.5, I discontinued my space-themed texture pack on account of a lack of feedback from the public. I blame this partially on my subpar texture making skills, and the niche nature of a sci-fi themed texture pack.
But now we're all the way up to the adventure update, and I feel like a space theme would go brilliantly with all of the new content. Plus, making pack customizers is easier than ever these days. Plus, I feel like I've grown just a little bit in my texture making skills.
Should I go about updating the pack, I'll be redoing many of the current textures as well as adding the new content; I have no shortage of ideas, but I still want feedback and suggestions from you guys. If there isn't enough demand for an update, I really think I'd be better off starting on something different. Here's another link to the original thread, and if you're too lazy to check that out, here's a screenshot:
(remember, it doesn't help me if you just say "sure you should update it lol", because anyone can say that. Would YOU use this pack if I updated it? And what would it take for you to use this pack?)

I probably wouldn't use this pack. The colors are a bit to bright. However, this is rather well done. Your theme is great, reminds me of the old space quest games. I definitely think you should pick it back up. If you need any assistance and/or feedback feel free to check our the Texture Artists Union (whose thread is always on the 1st page of the discussions subforum.) We would be glad to have you.
For some more specific feedback.
I really like the grass and the bizarre cow. Your dirt is great and in fact upon second thought I probably would use this pack.

Yeah, one of my weaknesses as a texture maker back then was that I wasn't very picky about the colors I picked. That's definitely something I'm going to go over and rework, if I pick this back up. I used ShortStuf7's Clean Design pack as a source of inspiration for many of the textures, which helped me maintain consistency throughout the textures (you'll notice many of my textures, like the dirt, are similar to his, but please let me assure that I didn't actually steal anything from him...)
This is a good chance to bring up a prospective changelist:
-Redo colors so that they complement each other more appropriately
-Redo several textures (especially sand and gravel) to add a little more detail, and make them a little more original
-Add several alternative textures for customizers.
-New chicken mob texture. Chickens are the bane of my existence.
I'll add more to this list as I get more feedback.

The more I think (and look) the more I think the colors are a good choice. I have no idea if you ever played the old space quest games but you have captured that style fairly well.

Yes! your texture pack was one of those weird ones that always caught my eye in the texture pack centeral, so I tried it and actually enjoyed it for the most part. Although it was not my first to go to I still would be proud to have it in my texturepacks folder just for those few times I want to go to SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE

Im making myself a new signature soon, but im les tired.

Most of the colors are fine, but there are a few things I'm dead set on experimenting with. If I update this pack, the new version will be available on MinecraftCustomizer.net, and I'll upload all of the current textures for anybody that actually likes them.

Well, I might as well update it. Making the pack is fun, and I've got no shortage of ideas for all of the new content. Thanks for all the input, everybody.
My intention is to make this pack completely 1.9 ready. I also want to put this whole pack on Minecraftcustomizer.net; that means alternates for almost all of the textures! There will still be a pack for direct download for those who don't like customizers. Things I want to retexture:
-Touch up all the mobs, include non-pink alternates
-Remake the saplings; I'm kind of embarrassed at the half-assed job I did with them...
-Probably new pine/birch logs, maybe even oak and the wood stuffs
-Make some cosmic new grasscolor and foliagecolor alternates!
-Oh, the light texture will be really fun to experiment with. =D
-Remake all of the rails. I'll bring back the "Saturn's Rings" themed rails, and add some sexy alternates
-New Soul Sand
-New Gravel and Sand
-Sexier ores
-And much much more!
