Hey, I want to make my own Texture pack, but im an idiot at minecraft technical stuff. So i need a blank terrain.png, anyone have/know where to find one? Also, any additional info/help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
No, i mean a blank terrain.png. Meaning i want to make my own, ive found it, but i cant make perfect replicas of all the boxes, Meaning i want to "fill" Everything in with white i guess.
Just make a blank png file. Depending on your resolution, its size will differ. To work out how big you need it, decide your resolution. Multiply the resolution by 16 to fin the dimensions of the png (it must be square). For a 16x texture pack, it's 128. For a 32x, it's 256.
You do however have to keep the same format (as in, grass in top-left, wools down the left side, etc, etc) so Minecraft knows what texture to put on each block... or else you'll have it looking very glitchy.
Alright thanks, though if anyone finds a blank, please PM me or post. Thanks
Umm...a blank? I don't know what you mean by that, but if I understand you correctly, a "blank" would just be an empty, transparent, png file with the dimensions of 256x256 pixels.
I mean all the boxes, sorry for non-technical terms, are blank, meaning i can fully customize it. Like, if theres dirt in one, it would be a blank box, but same dimensions.
