You've scaled up all the textures using the wrong format. If you don't select the "nearest neighbour" option, the images will blur. The texture below Redstone is layered over the top of it, without changing colour, and the blurred textures are spilling into that.
You can change the colour using this overlay texture, but you cannot get it to change colour when you power it, since that is coded into the game.

yeah, but some parts (obviously yours) are clearer than the resized defaults.
That means whenever you resized the terrain.png to edit it for a different resolution, you used the wrong resampling method. for GIMP, I think it's None, and for photoshop, it's called "Nearest neighbor"

Thanks im using photoshop. Its so easy to edit now :biggrin.gif: It took ages to find where to place the blocks good.

Im done with my redstone textures now and wonder if they are good?

Well, if you have trouble, you can use the Grid to show you where to put the textures -- set it to whatever resolution the pack is, and it'll help ya.
