Hey! Just a quick note, they seem to have renamed the door textures in the newer version.
Instead of the file being named "spruce_door_upper.png" for example it should be called "spruce_door_top.png"
As this seems to make the textures not load correctly if it's not named that way, same goes for the bottom half of doors.

Funny you say that now. I just fixed that a few moments ago. Though I won't update the download until all the textures are ready.
That's great to hear, I just fixed it up my download of it just now as well!
Good luck on this! I've been a fan of this resource pack for a good while now
I will be leaving to go to Tennessee for four days very soon, and I planned to have the 1.13 update completed by then. However, I didn't account for a slightly debilitating hand injury, so we are several weeks behind schedule. Here is what I have so far, noting that any and all 1.13 textures are subject to change, and that I am not even close to completing the 1.13 textures.
So here is the deal. The 1.13 update will have to wait a bit, cause I want to get on with "reconstruction". I plan on redoing most, if not all of the mobs. This is so they all have a consistent style. If this works out, I will redo all of the items, and eventually, all of the blocks. Updating to 1.13 will come along the way, but I feel a need to do this to make the pack more professional looking. Of course, these updates will only apply to BaryDoku, as all of the textures from Tombones Gerudoku need to be kept.
Here is a little preview of how the updated mob textures will look. I will have more.
EDIT: So, I've spent my summer so far obsessed with a small, obscure game from the early 90s. Its a little something called DOOM. You've probably never heard of it. Nonetheless, playing the original two DOOM games, and failing to play DOOM 3, has given me some ideas for the nether, which I have been planning to overhaul a bit. Ultimately, the nether really needs mods to have any sort of substance, so I will actually be doing some mod support for the nether, but hopefully I won't need to for too much longer. With the Update Aquatic fleshing out the oceans, I can only hope that Mojang will work on the nether next.
I've been working on the new 1.13 textures, which will be coming out very soon. The seagrass, tall seagrass, and kelp aren't animated, though I tried one for the sea grass that doesn't look all that great. If any of you would like to help animate these, since I am not great at it, please do message me.
EDIT: So I've been asking redditors for help with animations. I actually did get some positive responses, including one from none other than Jasper Boerstra himself, giving me tips on what programs to use. When I drop the update for 1.13, the textures probably won't be animated. I plan on purchasing the program Jasper recommended, which will allow me to animate. Until then, if anyone wants to have a go at it, please be my guest. I attached the texture file.

For some reason the 1.13 BaryDoku pack isn't working for me. The GUI's change to the BaryDoku style but all of the blocks remain vanilla, anybody else having this issue?
Indeed, but the problems also occur on Gerudoku Faithful, I just got a message from HPsaucey, he encountered an issue where some of the particles were messed up and the horse texture is completely mangled, so I decided to have a look and I all the problems, not sure what is happening exactly but it looks like Mojang broke stuff again.
That makes sense with what I've just seen, I just got the particles working, but the grass, dirt and stone textures are all being randomly rotated, the water is a strange color, and the horse texture needs to be adjusted, I'm not too busy at the moment so I'll see what I can do to get it all working, though I don't think I'll be able to fix the water color without completely destroying biome water color.
Edit: here are the fixed particles
Edit2: The horse texture is worse than I originally thought, parts weren't just moved around they have also been resized, I don't think I can fix the water color at all since I can't find where its being handled, hopefully optifine will have an option to disable it.
Edit3: I've got most things working in Gerudoku Faithful but the horses are still messed up, the water is still weird, but everything else seems to be working, I'll link the working version but I'd recommend waiting for Barytyrannus to finish updating everything to 1.13.
Alright, you guys seem to have fixed your problems, but in actuality, the download for 1.13 on the main page actually isn't for 1.13. It was last updated for an old snapshot. I will go ahead and release the 1.13 version now with the fixes and some of the new textures, just so we don't have the problem again. It isn't 100%, as I've been working on a complete texture overhaul for most blocks and items. That overhaul is maybe 50% at this point.
I'm sorry that this update is taking so long. I should have started sooner, tbh. I have a tendency to bounce between projects, and only focusing on what I am excited about. I 'm excited about the texture overhaul, but I'm sure that you guys want the 1.13 textures, and while I'm busy remaking old textures, I often forget that I have new ones I haven't done yet.
Besides that, I'm also in the planning stages of a webcomic based on my book. You can see one of the character designs here, on my deviantart: Shameless Self Promotion. This webcomic is taking a lot of time to get started, so BaryDoku has been pushed to the backseat a bit.
I just got a new PC, which took a long time to set up. I also built a loft with my parents, and worked two full days at the Design Lab in Jacksonville. And finally, school is starting up again. So I've been busy, to say the least. 1.13.1 is already on its way, and that bothers me a bit. Nonetheless, I'll keep working on this pack when I find time to. Hopefully, the 1.13 update will be complete soon.
I will work on this pack this weekend. And an updated download will come out. I promise. A medical emergency in the family, as well as the fact that I was campaigning for class representative messed up my schedule.
Ok, so here is the deal. I've been procrastinating lately, and it is beginning to show in my school grades, as I have a 4.0+ GPA, and I simply cannot afford to let that falter. I've started working to get myself in the habit of meeting deadlines and finishing projects, and this pack will help me do that. I will create AT LEAST one new texture each day, starting with the new 1.13 stuff I have yet to complete, and then the updated textures. BaryDoku will get an update every Wednesday, starting next week. GeruDoku, unfortunately, is on ice until winter break at the soonest, but until I can get around to it, I will fill in the blank space with BaryDoku textures as place holders. Now, I want to try to get this schedule working, but it could take time. I'm already two months behind the planned release date for the first issue of my webcomic, as well as, of course, school work. Added upon that is the fact that, well, I don't play minecraft all that often anymore. That by no means means I'm dropping this pack, but it puts some context as to why updates have been...well...nonexistent.
Sorry to keep anyone waiting; just know that we are a mere week from an update.
Thanks for the kind words. The webcomic has had set backs, but as I get into a grove, I will be able to work out any scheduling kinks. 1.14 may restore my interest in the game, and as such give me motivation to continue working on this pack, but ultimately, the pack is on hiatus until further notice. Don't be alarmed by that statement; this hiatus could potentially be as short as two weeks. But it could also be 5 months, worst case scenario. The webcomic project is going to take nearly three years, around 30 months, to complete, and by that point I'll be in collage, but I will have, if my schedule works out, finished making new comics in only 15 months; that's because the new issues will be released monthly, but I can finish making two of them in on month (once again, if the scheduling works). I should hopefully finish the first issue in two weeks, but I'll have finished the entire first volume in 5 months. That explains the very wide potential gap. Whether or not I work on this pack before the five months is up, only time will tell.

To both Dangeresque & Barytyrannus...
just a heads up about HPsaucey problem since I've been 'helping' him suss out what might be the problem.
Instead of repeating it all here - you'll find his post here along with what I've managed to find out myself (post #3)
Bottom line (what I've found so far)
- due to 1.13 'Flattening' there been some name changes to files (particallly JSON) & graphic layout for some mobs seem to have been altered
Hope this helps

Thank you so much!! :))
what you just said about the colour of the water, I did notice recently that the blue is more saturated than what I remember it to be xDDD

I don't want to rush you, so take your time with the pack, remaking the older textures is just as important as the new textures.
Your character design for your webcomic looks fantastic,
your shameless self promotion has worked, I now eagerly await your webcomic.
