Hey. Any chances of bringing this to the Bedrock Edition?
Not likely, unless Microsoft and Mojang have completely changed how that version uses textures, I really can't do much, I tried awhile back and what I got was a jumbled mess, it looked terrible, the only positive thing I found was that bedrock edition was running better on my PC than the java version, but no mods and no custom resource packs was kind of a deal breaker for me, so I stick with the Java version.
A few things have come up so progress on the pack is extremely slow, almost nonexistent,
I usually just tinker with it in my free time, but if anyone wants to add to it, feel free to do so,
I'll upload the most up to date version I have,
it's just the Gerudoku Faithful version so far, and its very broken at the moment,
I will continue to work on it when I can but it will take me awhile.
Hey, I'm a big fan of Gerudoku and it's great to see it's still being worked on to this day. From the screenshots it looks like you've been doing an amazing job! One small problem though is that when I download the resource pack and I put it in my resource packs folder, select it, then hop into a world none of the textures apart from the hud and some mobs work. I'm just wondering if this is a known problem and if there is a fix as I can't find anything about it. Thanks for your time!
EDIT: I just realised that newer messages appear at the last page on a thread. I barely use this site apart from downloading resource pack, etc. Sorry about that. I see that you're still waiting to get around to Gerudoku. I feel stupid and if there's a delete button for replies I can't find it so, welp.
Don't know about how Bedrock use these textures, but I can tell you some texture packs from java edition has made it on on bedrock with no issue! Here are some:
- Faithful
- JSC John Smith
- Chroma Hills
- PureBDcraft
I think they either ported all of the textures over manually, or they used a converter. Maybe try both ways and see which works best. You can also ask creators who has successfully ported their texture packs (such as those I listed above) for help? Good luck! 😁

Had a look around, I did find a converter but its outdated,
I'll probably try messing around with it but I doubt It'll turn out well,
If it does I can't really put it on the in-game store, nor would I want to, the pack is free it always has been and always will be,
I don't think there is a way for me to put it on the in-game store without it being put up for a price,
how I see the bedrock edition is merely a way for Microsoft to monetize others creativity, and I will not be a part of that.
Edit: if I can put it on the in-game store in a way which will keep it free for everyone I will do it,
but otherwise I will never attempt to get it on there.

Okay, it's your choice. The bedrock store, was in fact, suggested by fans (not Microsoft) as it was seen as a good way to support creators for their hardwork. GERUDOKU is an amazing pack, you've done great in keeping it alive for many years, and I would love to show some support - so as everyone else.
Again. You can try asking those creators who has managed to make their packs available for bedrock, you'll get a ton of help.
[p]I just read the Minecraft Forum Archive Announcement, so I'm going to need to find a new place for the pack,[/p]
[p]I'll probably try putting it on Planet Minecraft but they kicked it off last time I tried,[/p]
[p]so that may not be the best place for it, if anyone has a suggestion it would be most appreciated.[/p]
[p]Edit: I could also do curse forge, seems a bit weird though.[/p]
Why is CurseForge weird? I find it preferable for mods and resourcepacks personally.[/p]
Ok so it is about time I make some quick statements here before it is too late.
Since I have more time with summer vacation and all, I am going to attempt to pick up BARYDOKU REMIX again. The future of Gerudoku remains uncertain at the moment, but there is no way that I could handle the workload of two packs.
With minecraft forum shutting down, any updates will be seen on planet minecraft, which hasnt been updated since 1.12.2. I will update the planetminecraft page once I have the pack ready, but thats where you will need to go. https://www.planetminecraft.com/texture_pack/1-12-barydoku-remix-32x32/
If you have any other questions relating to the future of this pack, please email me at [email protected].
Its a shame to see the forums go, but I will make sure you guys have access to any information needed for the future.
Its been a fun run on the forums, and I want to thank all of you for the support and love since I started working on Gerudoku Faithful way back in 2015. Thank you for letting me work on the project, Dangeresque486, and I hope you can find someone capable of keeping Gerudoku Faithful going. I hate to leave it behind, but I am admittedly biased to my own pack.
See y'all soon, but for now, peace out minecraft forum
So unfortunately I had a hiccup with my PC and had to do a complete overhaul on some parts. Luckily I saved all the custom textures to a google drive file which I should be able to pick up shortly.
So for some reason the only way I can get the 1.13 version of the texture pack is by also using the 1.8 version underneath otherwise a lot of things are just there default Minecraft texture...
The downloads arent updated atm because the pack is currently abandoned and in the process of being picked up
I listen to Gorillaz while making textures.

I think this is caused by the names of the folders being changed. Someone earlier in this post already explained what to do.
Edit: Aight nvm'd me that's already been done, I just dl'd the latest version, everything looked fine.
So all we're missing are the latest textures?
So I managed to get rid of biome coloring on the sugar canes and got the lily pad 3D model working,
but I can't get rid of the water biome color, anyone know how to do that?

To Dangeresque486:
I'm a bit confused on what's happening with the resourcepack at the moment. I know that Barytyrannus has dropped the project; have you picked it up?
If so, and if you don't mind me asking, where are you at on the resourcepack right now (what's left to be done for 1.14)?
I don't know if I'm being dumb but Gerudoku's blocks don't load in, Just the UI.
How will the June 16th archive affect this pack? Where will I be able to find it after?
