I've gotten a few requests from people wanting just my night sky as a resource pack, so I've created the "Milky Way Galaxy" resource pack, one of which containing the moon phases.
Here is a quick cinematic of the pack:

Note that this pack requires Optifine to work. I have tested it and it works in versions 1.7 - 1.13.1, it will say "may be outdated." Just ignore and use, it still works.
Also note, your view distance "must" be at least "8" in order to see the night sky.

Just to answer the few that have asked me; yes, this works well with other HD resource packs. You just have to load both of them in the options, but load this one first, in case it needs to override the sky in a different resource pack.
Just a side note, the newer version of KUDA shaders has it's own sky background, so if you want to use this resource pack with KUDA, you will have to choose an older version.
Have received a few messages about the texture pack with 1.13.1. Yes, it still works,will say outdated, but it works. However, it DOES require Optifine! When Optifine and forge for 1.13.1 are released it should work. Other than that, the moon phases DO work WITHOUT Optifine.
There has been another update to the pack that' pretty important, let me explain first. Newer versions of Optifine break older versions of custom skies. Therefore, I have created another download on the download page called "Universal". It's a larger file size, but it will work with the newer versions of optifine AND the older ones. You shouldn't encounter any more problems now. Please let me know if you do!
Note concerning the new universal optifine and 1.14.4. So, lots of people have tried the pack in the newer version and for many it doesn't work. It seems that for most everyone who has this problem that if they just reinstall optifine it starts working. Hope this helps everyone!
It's been a long time since I've posted an update, but this one is important. Due to changes with media fire, I've had to relocate the download files. It's SUPER important to me that you guys are safe from viruses and dangerous popups! My new website now has the pack directly downloaded from the website so I can control its safety. The thread has been updated.
