I personally find that textures having detail makes redstone easier, as you can count the blocks. OCD at least adds borders for the sake of counting blocks.
Also, this style of art is usually called "bucket fill" (or "simple" by those who create the packs) and most people tend to dislike it as all that is really happening is the detail is being removed.
This isn't 'hate', it's criticism. If you can't tell the difference between animosity and a desire to point out problems then you are going to have a bad time in life.
And there are problems. Everything is too saturated. It hurts the eyes. Everything is flat without any defining characteristics. You say you want to use this for redstone? Then why make it hard to count spaces? This is something OCD does on purpose to aid the redstoner. I could go on, but the point stands that while OCD may have inspired you it's pretty clear that you didn't really understand why Disco made the decisions he did when designing that pack.
While there are a hundred-thousand other bucket-fill packs that look almost exactly like this one OCD will stand the test of time not because it's all that different from flat packs like these, but because it was designed with a lot of thought and out of the creator's genuine necessity. It was not made simply just because he didn't like shading on things. Disco understood form and color. He understood how to make things unique, even while making them similar. He understood the concept of making identifiable blocks and not exclusively using flat colors.
These are all lessons you need to learn if you want to make a good flat-pack like this. Nothing in your pack should be arbitrary. It must ALL be thought out in order to have a good pack in this style.
Hi! I made a redstone resource pack for redstoners. It looks all simple so it's easier.
Here's a screenshot of the blocks:
So yeah, I changed everyhing that is in redstone really.

Thanks!
P.S there are no original MC textures.
Is this really necessary? Disco's oCd pack works just fine for redstone,
and there are a few other packs that work just as-well.
Yeah ocd inspired me

No hate... just fact.
There is a difference between criticism and hate, please recognize that
Thankyou!
