Please don't make the sunlight have a yellow tint. Everyone wants to have yellow sunlight because it looks cool, but consider how Minecraft's lighting system works: it's subtractive, not additive. If your sunlight tone is ANYTHING but pure white, you will be darkening everything in the game, and by quite a noticable bit in some cases. And besides; IRL, sunlight is not yellow, it's pretty much plain white until sunset comes.
-Also, having a strong tint on torchlight (although kinda cool looking) is a very bad idea in the long run. When you're underground (and let's face it, a LOT of our time in the game is spent underground), having everything drenched in orange will (1:) reduce the range of hues you see overall, which can be bad news for colorful underground builds, or anything that relies on manufactured light to be seen, and (2:) strain on one's eyes and become quite unpleasant to look at after spending lots of time underground. Try using white with just a bit of orange added, no more than 50%.
Sorry, I don't mean to bash your work or anything. As someone who's made around 50 different lightmaps in my pursuit of creating a "perfect" one, it annoys me to no end that some packs (Pixel Reality: Luminance for example) have these issues and yet claim to be 'realistic' or 'better than vanilla'.

I think the pack actually looks great with the yellow sunlight, it makes the world more colorful and sunny. Also i reeeaaly like the trchlight, it maybe makes caves a bit darker, but it's meant to be COOLER and not "better for building" in my opinion the pack would be much worse if the lighting would be removed, but that's just my opinion..
I'm sorry, but this is a current problem I've been having. I have no idea how to fix it, or even if it can be fixed. As far as I know, I think it is just a problem with Minecraft itself and is out of my control :/
If you could just remove the grass all together for a version because the no short grass looks the same as the other versions. The only reason I really ask this is because I would like to stream with this resourcepack but the grass grows through blocks and looks weird when digging dirt. Could you make a version with no grass alterations whatsoever? I tried to do it myself, but I don't know how.
Great job! I really only have 3 issues with the pack (take them as constructive criticism). The first is that the flowing water is a little noisy and intrusive. A volume change seems to fix this. The second thing is with the grass model. The side overlay does not tint like in vanilla, instead it just looks bright green regardless of biome. My third complaint is the breaking animation with the grass, but I don't know if that can be fixed. You could minimize it by making the planes with the grass on it just tall enough to fit the texture.
1) I'm not sure which version of my pack you are using. The first one's sound was absolutely terrible and unbelievably loud. In my second version, or 1.1, I tried to fix this as best I could by making it much softer.
2) Yes, this is currently a problem that I've noticed as well and it is quite annoying. It just seems models do not work with biome colors very well, and I currently do not no how to fix this. I did however edit the color from default to make it just a bit more dark, fitting most of the biomes better.
3) This is probably the biggest problem. And you are right, I currently have no control of this, it is just a problem with default minecraft.
Yet the short grass on the top tints to the biome texture. I think there is just a part of the model (the part with the overlay) that is not part of the model that you created. Check the default grass block model and figure out which part has the overlay on it, then just add it to your model.
What do you mean? I've done the update that updated the clouds etc. So, if you haven't got that one, it is out now. However, if you do have that one already and are looking for the 3rd update, yes it will be coming, however it may take a little bit to finish.
You can just call me Canary.
How not to look like a total fool in the forum games

Thanks for making a video! I think you did a really good job (in my oppinion, even better than minecraft universe's)
I subscribed and I hope you can do another one when I add the new features i'm working on.
just posting this message so the post gets on top and gets more attention. It deserves it ;-)
I am begging you to fix the break dirt block glitch to cause the funny grass/lighting because this pack is stunning and I want to use it so bad.

You know what, you're completely right. It's about time I release a version without any grass alterations. It will be out in the next few days.
Thank you so much! ^.^ Please respond back on the thread when you do, I will be eagerly waiting!!!
How do we get rid of the yellow tint everywhere? It really looks horrible.
If you don't like the yellow tint, you can turn up your brightness to bright. Or very simply, don't use the pack.
Done!
LOVE IT! <3

wow, still no updates... Are there still updates on their way or is the pack 100% done?
