Maximux12, I just wanted to say how stupendous this pack is! It's such a helpful tool for people with computers that can't handle shaders. It's truly great. You must have spent a lot of time on this and I appreciate it. Keep it up!
My biggest concern is that even though when it is night time, you can still hear the birds chirping... which is very annoying to me. Also when it is raining. But I'm liking the custom sky gotta give you that! Also liking the ambient sound as well! The thing is that there is only one sound for like every biome. Consider adding wind noises for mountains (Don't make it too loud), crickets chirping for swamp etc. That would be really nice because I recently found a mod similar to this and it had all kinds of animal sounds. I really wanted to use it on a server and I made a request for it to be allowed but then found out that forge wasn't allowed for some stupid reason... and I tried installing it without forge but it didn't work :/ But you, my friend are a lifesaver, because you literally did the exact same thing but with a texturepack that doesn't require forge and isn't a mod so I don't have to request it! Thank you for taking the time to read this.
There are no words to describe how much I love this resource pack. I love the default textures and lightmaps for what they are, but this resource pack...this takes those textures and lightmaps and turns them into something beyond beautiful. You, my friend, have made something fantastic.

Yeah im sorry for bothering but um whenever i put the pack on it just gets rid of every pack to prevent a crash and i did some editing and it turned out to be the models and i really dont know why any ideas on why this is happening?
ok so the lighting looks like how smooth lighting off looks is that a bug or something i got the settings all good and i have smooth lighting on maximum but it looks weird like if you were in vanilla with smooth lighting off
Could you add an update log so that people can be able to see what new features have been added since last update? btw love your resource pack, been a fan for a long time
That wasn't the problem. The problem was that I was an idiot and put it in the mods folder out of habit instead of the resource pack folder. Sorry to bother you.
After two whole years since the last time I updated this pack people are still downloading it,[/b] and it is still my most downloaded resource pack to date.
That is why I have finally decided to return and make sure those who
are downloading Naturus are getting the best and most updated version
possible. So, for the past week or so, I have taken it upon myself to
not only update the pack to the 1.13.x versions of Minecraft, but to
completely re-create the pack from the ground up with improvements all
around and even brand new features. All with the goal of (hopefully)
staying true to the pack's roots, while also improving upon what it can
be.
So here it is, version 2.0. Although at first glance it may look
similar to Naturus 1.0, they are without a doubt two different ways of
going about the same idea. One problem I had with Naturus 1.0 is that
it's scope of what it was trying to accomplish was very wide, covering
all aspects of "nature" in Minecraft. With the 2.0 version however, I
have narrowed the features of the pack to focus more closely on it's
original idea; to do it's best to re-create features found previously
only in mods like Shaders and Better Foliage in a vanilla or Optifine
setting. This includes things such as shadows and moving plants (a full
list of features can be found in the thread below).
Although the new version is here, and will be continued to be updated
as the main version of Naturus, the old versions will still be up for
download in the "legacy" section of this thread for those who prefer the
old versions.

don't be that person who ruins another's day.
Glad to hear it
After all this time, It's back! I'm still amazed by this pack!

The way he implemented the bird sounds is ingenious. If you want to remove them, open the resource pack and go to assets>minecraft>sounds>step.
Delete grass6.ogg and you will no longer hear chirping birds.

Wow.
Just.
Wow.
I love, love, love the default textures, and this just makes them look even better. How is performance as compared to Optifine and a decent shader?
I have one glaring trouble with Naturus. It makes all of my birch trees have gray leaves instead of golden. How would I go about fixing this?

Woaw! This looks great. You need advertising.
.
Can I borrow some of the sounds an (maybe) the textures from this pack for mine on planetminecraft?
So theres a resourcepack called BetterVanilla with your chirping sounds, theyre annoying me a bit, how can I turn them off??

Really happy to see this pack come back to life! Great work, I absolutely love it!
ooo, a signature. ʢ◉ᴥ◉ʡ
Incredible, you're incredible. Keep it up.
I need a Naturus v2.0 for Minecraft 1.12.x, currently it is impossible to use it in previous versions of Minecraft
