i found a way to make those textures disapear. you have to do the following: go to your resourcepack folder and open this resourcepack, then open assets, minecraft, models and then delete the grass_normal.mcmeta file. then restart the resourcepack within your minecraft and have fun without purple and black
Iv been getting some issues with the texture pack iv reinstalled my minecraft and every thing and it doesnt seem to work (yes i am following the settings you said) the first time i load the texture pack every thing is ok but when i restart my game all the grass blocks are missing textures im not sure why its doing this :/ possib bug? iv tried lower versions of the texture pack and iv gotten the same results pls fix or explain D:
1. go to your resourcepack folder and open this resourcepack.
2. open assets, minecraft, models
3. when you are there: delete the "grass_normal.mcmeta" file
Really looking forward to this pack being updated to 1.9. I removed all the better grass textures except 1 and 2 so nothing would go over half slabs (as well as inverting the 1 and 2 textures to replace 3 and 4 to add a bit of variety). However, since 1.9 came out they're all purple and black so I've had to remove all grass enhancements until the pack is updated.
You could try making different light colors. For example when you place a colored glass pane near a block it changes the color of the light.
That would be beautiful, but it would require a light engine rewrite, far beyond the ramifications of this texture pack. Right now, light is handled as either Sun/Moonlight, or Artificial light from fires and such, with 16 values of brightness. Making stained glass produce colored light would require 16 more values for light type, which would make 18, which is not a good number for computing. If Black, Light, and Dark Gray were removed, it would add up to 15, which is okay for computing, but increasing 2 to 16 is a huge leap, as 16 is 2 to the power of 4, and computers run on powers of 2.
TL;DR: Not possible within the scope of this pack. If you want it, try using shaders.
I feel like this resource pack looks best when smooth lighting is set to off. Because then the shadows aren't blended and it just makes the shadow look overall better.
Here is a screenshot. You can see the stars through the clouds, also the sun and moon as well.
Oh I see, yeah as far as I know there is no way to make them completely transparent unless you edited the sky texture itself, which you could easily do if you wanted to.
I love this resource pack. It works well with other default packs, just put it in second priority on the resource pack list. I have a custom default pack and it works quite well with it. The only thing that is missing from my point of view is compatibility with more recent versions of the game. I hope you can do that soon, but you have every right to take your time. Thanks for listening.
Would there be any way to just have the grass thing? because i really like all the ideas but i prefer to change just the tall grass on every block and that would be awesome :3
It does not seem to work in OpenGL 2.1... I get this error:

I'm also using 1.10 instead of 1.11. So that could be the problem. What do you think?

I really love this but can you update to 1.9 please?
EDIT: Oh never mind, I see.

OMG thank you so much it worked!

Is there anyway to be able to not see through the clouds?
I assume you mean look through the sides of the clouds. If so, all you need to do is turn clouds to "fast" in the settings.
I actually meant the clouds that you added in the resource pack.
I don't understand, could you post a screenshot?

Okay. Thanks for answering. Oh and by the way, I love this resource pack!

I love this resource pack! Really, really love it, but I use 1.10, which are not compatible :(, can you update it please
Thanks to IStealyourRAM, the pack has FINALLY been updated to 1.9/1.10/1.11 (see post for info)
