It is my favorite texture pack ever, i was sad to know that there are no new updates from Scuttles.
I've decided to update it to existing Minecraft version. I want to share it with you, because it is realy awesome pack, many of you is looking for x256 fully updated version and here it is.
Press WinKey + R and type %appdata% (or go to X:\Users\\AppData\Roaming)
Open ".minecraft" folder, then open "resourcepacks" folder
Place texturepack inside "resourcepacks" folder (it is not necessarily to unzip anything)
Lunch Mincraft
Go to Options -> Resource packs... and select LBPR x256 1.8.x Ready! (it will take up to 30 seconds to load the pack)
For older versions (1.7.10 and lower):
If you are using minecraft 1.7.10 and lower and if you don't using custom character skin then you want to delete steve.png file (or replace it with that one: get file)
Located at: LBPR x256 1.8.x Ready!.zip >>> assets >>> minecraft >>> textures >>> entity
Use also shaders mod with this pack, results are incredible.
Original thread says that they require permission for redistribution. Did you obtain permission?
sure, why? I have all permissions. Direct persmissions and from TERMS OF USE of other authors.
As for direct permissions authors knows every single texture i used. For example the new ore textures from Enchanced Photo Realism.
Also all original links and suggestions are included.
Oh, this is great. I used LB Photorealism for ages, until they stopped updating and then I switched to Faerielight, but she stopped updating, so I'm using this one now. First time playing minecraft since before the 1.8 update >_>
I seem to be having difficulty downloading this. It wants to load something else very confusing. Any suggestions. The download path is very convoluted.

Periodically im updating pack to the newest minecraft versions, so i need always-working link with updated instructions.
There is texture pack on google drive. Just hit download link.
Yay got the pack and wow very nice. I have a bit of a problem though, The visibility under water is almost zero is there a setting to fix this. I am using MCPatcher with the pack.
Edit: Never mind the problem went away with Optifine so the problem is using MCPatcher.
after hitting the download link you get this page that has the files, and you have to scroll to the top, and get the hidden bar that springs out as you scroll over the area, and hit the little "download" icon that is an arrow pointing down into an underscore line all white symbols over a black bar background. that is probably how it seemed convoluted to him, since it is not clear how to download till you know how google drive works.

Good job updating this packs, it looks great. I know you have a cinematic for the pack, but it's difficult to get a real good look at the details. I made a video of my first impressions, with a more detailed look at most of the blocks in the game. Its amazing how complete this pack is, so often I see rabbits and horses overlooked, but not this time!

See what changes have happened in your favorite packs!
SavageStyle, are you planning on making 128x or 64x resolutions? I've always loved LB Photorealism, and I have my own CaerCraft Realistic overlay pack for 1.7 that acts as a "glue layer" to seamlessly blend a lot of Deltacraft mod-specific resource packs (and a few remaining Soartex mod resource packs) with it, but several of the players on my server have lower-end PCs that just won't physically hold enough RAM to properly handle a 256x resource pack.
...One quick question: Why is the rabbit's foot green?

I guess there is no x512 version of LB Photo Realism.
Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.
