Looks fancy and wish to try it as I almost double your specs but I just crash with memory errors even when giving Java/MC 2GB to work with.
Edit: Got it to load with 4GB but everything is black and 2-3 FPS is not really the performance I'm looking for so maybe I'll wait till the 256x256 to be uploaded and give that a try. If I set my render distance to 2 I get 7 FPS but still black textures on everything.

Hmm, for the best experience I recommend trying it out on any version of minecraft 1.7 with the corresponding version of optifine. Also, try allocating 4GB minimum as i find my PC using up to 3.5 at points. The reason my pack is so stressfull on your PC is because it's true 512x meaning the items are 512 as well, most 512 packs are block only and the items are 256 or lower. I really appreciate the comment, let me know how it goes! Thanks!

Also, make sure the version of Java you're using is 64 bit, that's necessary to run this pack. Thanks!

It works on 1.7 indefinitely, but if you want to run it on 1.8 you'll be able to if you go into the zip file and click "Enhanced Photo Realism 512x512 1.8" -> "assets" -> "minecraft"->"textures" and drag the "items folder to your desktop. You won't be able to see the updated item textures but all blocks and mobs etc will work.
Looks really nice! Combining LB Photo Realism with Enhanced Photo Realism makes my 1.8 experience complete!
However there are two bugs
All the banners appear to be white, at least in the 256x256 pack for sures. Ohh and the light beams from beacons do some weird thing where it looks like its spawning endless "boxes" and sends them up up and away.
But if ya fix those colors and the beams I'm definitely going to keep this pack in my collection.

Thanks for the helpful comment! I wasn't aware that the banners were bugged so that's good to know. Also, the light beam issue is very easy to fix so you can expect everything you mentioned to be fixed in the next update. Keep your eyes open also if you're interested in the Christmas version of EPR that I'll be releasing in all resolutions within the next week or two!
Most of the textures create a distinct pattern. For a photorealist theme, this is generally.. not good.
Also screenshots without shaders are best, as most people don't use them. It gives a false image of what the pack truly looks like.
The images you do have are nice shots, but terrible for showing off the pack. They have blurring and sharp contrast making it basically impossible to see much of the details of the textures,

Cast aside your festive doylaks: dragon stuff is about to happen.
Multiplayer is lonely once you understand how it actually works.

I'm not entirely sure about what you mean by "Most of the textures create a distinct pattern" if you could explain it further that would be great. Also, you brought up a good point and I'll be sure to upload a batch of screenshots later with no lighting mods. Thanks
Notice how the stone and dirt textures repeats themselves very noticeably? This is what most people try to avoid. The tiling pattern destroys any illusion of immersion because of this repetition.

Ahh, I see what you mean. I guess after staring at the textures for hours you don't realize things like that lol, I'll do my best to fix that but it'll take time.

*EPR update 1.2 Expected to be released in the new year with updates to plant textures as well as a variety of other blocks in need of re-model. Leave comments of what block you want re-done!
