It's quite nice. There are a few things that I don't like the textures of but that's so subjective on what one person likes and another doesn't so it will be easy enough to change them to what I do like myself.
Strangely enough, the 512x pack runs fine on my couple year old laptop:
Asus G74
16GB SRAM (6GB dedicated to run Minecraft with the ATLauncher)
Windows 7
i7 2.8GHz quadcore CPU
Nvidia GTX 560m with 1 or 2 GB dedicated VRAM.
Thanks for the feedback, and that's good to know that it runs well on your computer. Are there any blocks that you'd really like to see re-done? I can always make a new texture for something and put up a poll. Thanks -Nickm77

First update coming with LOADS of changes to block textures and mobs will be released mid-end of January, give me feedback of what you want to be changed! This pack can only be at it's best with the help of the community!
So I'm guessing these are not for 1.71 because even though I put the downloads in the correct resource folder, they don't show up ingame.
All versions of EPR should work on 1.7.X through to 1.8.X, if it isn't showing up in-game, that may be my fault as I believe someone mentioned I double-zipped one of the 512x or 256x packs, if this is the case, go into the folder you downloaded, and click the file named "enhanced photo realism 512x512 1.8 OR 256x256 and then drag out the single file inside of that and use that file as your texture pack and it should work. Thanks!
I'm having issues using this texture pack...the 512x version. I installed it and activated it. The game then said Not Responding. So I crash them game forcefully and restart...it gets to the Mojang logo and again the same says Not Responding. I've tried restarting the game over and over but it still says not responding... Is there a reason for this?

The 512x version requires a very powerful PC to run, even I have to wait about 2-4 minutes depending for the 512x to start up. The not responsing is normal. You just have to wait it out unforunately. If that isn't what your looking for then try a lower resolution version possibly. Thanks for the feedback!

Sorry guys, I've been really busy lately and I just got a job so the update will have to be postponed as I barely have any time to work on it. Sorry again.
This is a really nice texture pack, very well done. It is good to have some different realism texturepacks other than the more common ones. Please don't stop making texturepacks, you are very talented.

Thanks so much! That means alot to hear that. If you ever have any reccomendations for future updates/changes let me know!

I'm aware of that and am working to fix it! Merry Christmas!
Thanks alot for the positive feedback! Also, not to worry, I should have the compass and clock finished for the next version of EPR.
