Alright, thanks for the info! I will probably try to implement that later(aka when I get time). I think that CTM would really work well in this pack, so thanks and I will look into that!
This is such an original and fun idea for a texture pack! Absolutely fantastic and a real must download for me as I love working on city scale builds, but this just makes it really cute fun!
You are definitely on to a winner here with this. Especially as the idea is almost like a new type of Minecraft altogether, because at this scale you could have many differently themed Tiny City packs! This would almost need it's own section, especially with all the detail you could include at higher resolutions.
Can I just encourage you along with others above to have a go with CTM. At first it does seem really confusing, but certain CTM methods can be pretty simple to start with, but with amazing results, and as you get the hang of it you'll be able to extend the range of use for each block many times over. No pressure, just enjoy the creative process as this is a crazily good idea.
First of all, this is amazing just to see support and comments from great resource pack creators like you, it's like that scene in October Skys where wernher von braun congratulates the main character and he can't believe that someone that famous just said something positive to him! (: hehe.
Yeah, about a month ago I got and idea of making themed remakes of this pack, I was going to do a Christmas themed pack but I never got around to it. But thanks fro reminding me and bringing up the idea of themed remakes! Definitely expect a few to come out as holidays and seasons go by!
Also, the support for me learning CTM to make this pack 10x better is much appreciated! The more support I get the more likely it will happen!
I might try and fit in a winter themed pack sometime in January, then I have a really interesting yet great idea for a valentines day pack (; So look forward to that! lets just say... The pack will be... Sweet. (:
Also one more thing to add, I wont start on the remixes until I get the pack into beta. So look at my comment below this for more information on that.
The release of the Tiny City Pack Beta is coming VERY soon! Expect it sometime around the new year!
A short side not-I have taken a small break over December and Christmas time but I will work on the pack very soon!
The next update of the pack will push the pack into the beta stages! As following my original plan from the start, I am going to finish all of the essentials for a real city to function before it gets out of alpha, so the next update will include industry!
As you can see I have done commercial, major commercial (downtown), residential, and soon industrial textures! For short, RCI. RCI is essential for many cities around the world to function and produce profit. R and C are must haves for every city, I can be replaced with A (agriculture) or T (Tourism). Very rarely will you find a city with only homes and shops. Also, I will add A and T in later updates!
So get hyped for beta! If there is any ):
Thanks once again for the continuous support and feedback. But I still haven't seen creations by you guys!!! Send em' in!!!
Update! Today, the pack enters Beta with an industrial update adding some industrial style buildings alond with a few other features that will make your cities light up! Enjoy!
Also remember to send in your creations! I still havent seen one yet!
Sorry everyone for the download not working. I've been super busy lately and have forgotten about it and MC Forums must have screwed it up somehow, but its fixed now and you may start building amazing cities once again!
UPDATE TIME ONCE AGAIN!!! This update includes new names for blocks, cool new textures, some texture fixes, and lots more trees!! Including the very nice looking cherry blossom from the beautiful Japanese Islands!
I'm here to announce a new Valentines Day spinoff pack for Tiny City coming in the next week or so! Hopefully I will also come out with a new update around then too, so stay tuned!
That's looking really nice! One thing I'm baffled about is those iron bars, how were you able to build them without those floating pixels? I'm taking them out in the next update because of that. Other than that, I will surely take your suggestions, they are very much appreciated!

See you in 2015!
Lol... residential, commercial, tourism=RCT... hehe, roller coaster tycoon.
Here, candy tools!
May I make a suggestion? Retexture creepers to look like giant, mutant monsters that are attacking the city.
