Xaivern made this masterpiece and many have been waiting with great patience for a chance to update it. Since Xaivern has declared the resource pack open source, I have decided to update the pack. If Xaivern decides to release his own updates in the future I will gladly stop. I just do not want this brilliant resource pack to disappear.
I have included the mod support included in the original 1.6.1 Xaivern pack. The mod support is out of date for some of the mods. I will start to update them in the future releases.
Please tell me what you like and, especially, what you DO NOT like. For the things that are not right, if you can tell me why they are wrong there is a good chance I will fix it, well at least try.
So is it too early to ask what you're going to be doing for your hundredth pack anniversary?
But seriously, good job on this. I'm really happy you're continuing a lot of these old packs. It's like you're the Texture Pack Historical Society or something.
BTW, you really should post a link to the original thread since you're apparently obligated to post your updates in it anyway. Makes it easier for us rules sticklers to verify you're working within the license.

Keep up the good work Kyctarniq!
LOL!!!!!, I think I would die of a heart attack at that point Great suggestion!. I forgot add the link and you are perfectly correct! I have added it.
As such, I will take suggestions as to TPs that need attention. I am perfectly happy if others want to look after continuing the packs but if there is one that you think needs love please let me know. I have three more in the works but I am always willing to take more on. I am finding I love to learn the style of other artists and keeping it alive.
Quote from xxjackeryxx» I made a review to this texture pack! Be sure to check it out and some of my other videos to see more cool packs and me playing SG
So, this is your 15th texturepack/continuation? And they are all good? Please sir, tell me how you do it.
Anyway, if you could put in the OP what you edited/made that would be nice. It would also make my life easier. (so I don't have to actually take the time to look up what has been added)

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
The roses are wilted, the violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty, and so is your head.

Hey Uncty,
I have actually given the detail you want. If you click the spoiler (Change Log) under the download link, I detail every update I have made for Xaiwaker. I started doing this after others have asked the same question for other packs.
Thank you for the compliment. I work a long time on each before it releases (it usually takes that long to get ahold of the creator, anyway). I had not realised I am up to 15, WOW. All I can say is I love MC and I love it to look good, so I spend time playing with a texture pack before I create the new textures. I look for the ideas the creator had when they made the pack, especially why they bothered to do all the work. I find the "why" the best piece of information to getting the new textures to match.
I know this is not a good explanation but it is my technique. I play the pack and study the palette, style and feel. Once I feel I understand the pack I make the new textures.
This is a great pack. I think you should make the clay and wool look a little better if its not too much trouble. This definitely what i will use on some videos. Keep up the great work!

I agree that Xaivern made a brilliant pack and I am lucky to have the opportunity to continue it. The difficulty is the wool and clay are original Xaivern textures. I may change them in the future but its likely to be the far future.

(koo-star-neek) The real numbers are countable and I CAN prove it. Cantor was wrong!
That is a beautiful pack! Thanks for updating it, I'm so glad you did!
I am glad my work is not wasted. It is hard to know if saving the old packs is a worthwhile activity. Your message means a great deal to me. Thank you for your extremely well timed encouragement.
: D Lol, Im sure you're work isn't wasted! I'm normally an absolute Lurker, but I thought this texture was so awesome I felt compelled to create an acct so I could thank you. So thanks for the nice welcome and keep up the great work.
Thank you so much for continuing mine and Xaivern's work so diligently. It's nice being able to jump back in every once in a while and still get a taste of the game as I remember it.
