I'm Speechless.. This pack is amazing! (I found it by your signature on my post ) You deserve so many more Downloads!
Glad you think so. I actually just passed 10K downloads a few weeks ago, which is way more than I ever thought I would get. It feels great knowing that so many people like my artwork and want to use it!
Another lovely update. I've created a custom lightmap, since the pack is so dark that it's unplayable at night without a good lightmap. I also did the sun, moon, rain, and snow. And the big oak, for some reason.
First and foremost, I removed that disgusting lightmap that 850 people downloaded. *shudder* that thing was not good, not good at all.
I also did some updating with some of the old nether textures. I retouched the netherrack and quartz ore, and completely redrew the nether wart. That turned out really nice, I think. I've also added a log top for the big oak, and added planks for it as well (with random CTM ).
I did the bow (all stages) and arrow, and created a new break animation (the old one was rather bad).
I also did a few behind the scenes things with the CTM to get them ready for 1.8. I've also got a few new mob skins in the works, including zombies. School will be out after this week, so updates should be spaced a little closer together from now on.
Where is the download link? I clicked the sign but it just gave me an image.
D: Whoops! There were a lot of problems with urls after I updated the topic, I should have checked the download button! Thanks for telling me, it should be all fixed now!

I went on a bit of a splurge today. I redid the iron door, and then redid the iron blocks to match it. Both of them match the cauldron a lot better now, and they're more or less the style I originally wanted. I also did the beacon block and trap doors!
I am SO CLOSE to finishing the blocks now, it's not even funny. However, 1.8 is going to break transparency in non-supposed-to-be-transparent things, which is going to kill my enchanting table and crafting table. I'll have to think of something to do with that.

pretty awesome. you should help me with texturing sometime
Requesting help with texturing BIONICLE HD Texture pack. Need help with entities, blocks, JSON files, MCedit-ing, pumkin blur animations, and other texturing.
Hello there! After a few months' hiatus while I participated in the Simple Pack Showdown, I'm back to Illustrious! I've done a few things to get it up and running for 1.8 that I hope you'll like.
Replaced all random CTM with custom block models. Now, even if you don't have MCPatcher, you'll still be able to see randomized blocks.
Man, it's been a while since this thread got some action!
After Minecraft updated to 1.8, a lot of the textures in this pack lost their transparency magic. I'm having to refit a lot of textures to remove all of their transparency, often starting from scratch. The crafting and enchanting tables are the two biggest culprits. But, it is a lot of fun to go back through and redo something so old that I was so dissatisfied with. Anyway, here's the new version of the crafting table:
After I get the ol' enchanting table redone, I'll be able to push an update. I'd also like to get a few more of the GUI screens done, besides just the survival and creative backpacks. Don't worry, there's more to come!
Samo, as soon as I get home I am downloading this extravagant resource pack, and will most likely be using it for my server! You are an amazing graphic designer and there is so much potential in this pack. Really great job!

Cheers mate. Works like a charm!
Wow! Thanks for those!

There's everything you see in this thread, plus a few surprises. Ignore the potatoes/footballs, I have seen my mistake and will fix them asap.
PLEASE let me know! The last one got 3000 downloads and was out for 2 months before I realized there was a problem.
