Thanks for the feedback. I fixed both problems (although typo did not affect functionality).
The typo in the case has no effect on Windows but probably on OS X and Linux, but it's fixed anyway.
Some more feedback: The packed ice and prismarine show tiling effects due a colour / brightness gradient. Less visibile at prismarine but the upper half of the texture is quite darker than the lower half:
You did these textures by yourself? They look amazing, and they really fit Misa's style.
Yeah I did...they're not perfect ...as Kumasasa keeps pointing out ....but still better than the default. I'll clean things up and post an update later. I'm working on guardians and rabbits but mobs are a real PIA since the textures are splayed out and confusing to figure out, much less blend properly. I was really hoping Misa would take over again but not sure if/when that will happen. Anyway, glad you like it so far.
Have fun,
Les
I'm using Photoshop to edit textures.....I'm very novice but learning as I go. Once I get everything done with the latest patch, I might look at other mods, but I don't really have a lot of time to do this thanks to real life.
do the rabbits flags armor stand and gaurdians and it s wohooooo
10 x !!
oh and maybe the accacia door a bit similar as color to the planks ? a bit reddish
thanks alot!!
Thanks HailtheHail,
I've just added rabbits to the update. There is only one texture at the moment so they'll all look the same for now. They are a real pain to model and I don't have much free time..but they are cute
Have fun,
Les
Thanks Kumasasa. I think I've fixed these issues ....now I have to change the way I resize my textures.....picks up transparent background
But thanks for the feedback,
Les
Brilliant ! The textures are really looking good now!
Don't get me wrong when nagging on your resource pack, I just want to imrpove the pack.
I really appreciate your work.
Especially the slime block is really mind-blowing!
The banners look really nice but that creeper head looks pretty weird on it.
Yeah.. I wasn't 100% liking the creeper either. I wanted to give tribute to Misa and used her texture for that. I'll probably change it or at least blend the edges so it's more subtle. As some may notice, I took some liberties with a couple of banners. I replaced:
1) the Mojang symbol with the "fighting lion" (use golden apple)
2) brick is now the plaid texture (just works better for a banner)
3) curly border (vines) is one I think I hate (pm me with any suggestions...I may just go back the basic pattern)
4) wither skull gives you the true "jolly roger" (black banner +skull+bone meal)
one thing , does it seem to me or the bunny looks a bit sad?
and a noob question : how do i make banners look like those u have shown? creepr pirate etc..
Hehheh..yeah, the bunny does look sad...but hey, you're fixing to kill him, take his hide and foot and make stew out of him. I'd be sad too
actually, it's just because of the downward curves over the eyes that make him look sad..they blend with the ear curves when looking at it straight on. I'm going to edit that when I modify the texture for the evil rabbit.
Ok, first off....sorry for all the minor updates. I just make a few changes and upload when I can. That being said, I did add a guardian texture. I did take liberties with it so don't yell at me too much..hehheh. Also, I made some minor tweeks to the banners thanks to feedback from Kumasasa. I've made them more heraldic to stay more within the theme.
Still hoping Misa will return. It's been awhile since she posted but still hope.
Thanks for keeping Misa's pack alive for all us folks who don't have the skills to do this on our own. I can't enjoy minecraft fully without it. I am not alone. We are many....B)
I am also an EXTREMELY picky guy when it comes to my texture packs, so the fact that I love your textures is no small praise...:P Love the banners, love the doors, LOVE the slime.
Just a question and I don't mean to push ya....hard...lol Where's red sandstone on the priority list? The wither chiseled theme is begging for a clean up...;)

Uh..yeah.. I completely forgot about the red sandstone. Doh! I'll have them in the next update
and thanks for the kind words. I'm like you, just can't play minecraft without Misa's pack...and yes, I've looked at others.
ok...I did a quick revisit to red sandstone and added it to my patch. Hope it meets your standards
Thanks,
Les
Ooh, like the red sandstone, may actually have to do something with it now.
Les, I've noticed something odd, and I don't know if it is something to just ignore for the time being, or if there is a problem with your pack's data. I tried out the MCPatcher 3.2i partial update for 1.8, and your new stone variants have disappeared from view as soon as I went to the MCPatcher profile.. They appear properly in the hot bar, chests and inventory, but when viewing them in the world, either still in the ground or placed, they're standard stone now. The fragments flaking off when mining are correct, but the only way I can find andersite, diorite or granite now is to start wailing away with a pick on random gray stones. Any suggestions? Other resource packs seem to be appearing properly, or at least that was what I was told when I brought this up in the MCPatcher thread.

Hey MagpieTear, I didn't realize there was a beta for mcpatcher. Needless to say I did some digging and found it to test it out.....and everything works fine on my end. Granite, diorite, and andersite all show up fine when I was exploring, so I'm not sure what's going on. Mcpatcher is still in beta so must be something else conflicting. Try redownloading my patch...I had mislabeled a red sandstone anyway (must be getting tired) and fixed it and of course I couldn't leave the others alone either Getting the colors to match vanilla minecraft are really hard for some reason.
In regards to the color issues while using the MCPatcher beta I have a few myself. carpet colors aren't there, the top of cobblestone slabs looks like nether quartz slab, and birch plank placed block appears as oak plank block, while the stairs and slabs for birch are correct (to name a few).

It's been a while, but I want to do a preview release. Trust me when I say it's very incomplete. Major features are still not implemented and what is there has many, many edge cases still to be dealt with. No testing has been done except on my own computer and it may not even work for you. But you can play around with it if you want.
I'm taking it with a grain of salt until Kahr does an official release. I'm just glad the glass is better, the water isn't white anymore, and the connected textures are (sort of) working. Can't rush genius
Hey that updated chiseled red sanstone block looks cool.......(screenshot above)
I have the same problem. But only with the combination Misa-pscof42-les! With other (complete) ressourcepacks are no problems. Trying out the patch from here this evening. Maybe it´s the order of the patches?! Also trying this evening.
Ok, I was intrigued and had to do a little research. It didn't make sense that instead of the black/red missing texture you would see regular stone. It appears that you've opened a 1.8 map in version 1.7, and maybe back again. The old version converts granite, andesite, diorite back to regular stone (since it has no idea what they are) Now when you open in 1.8.....guess what...they look like stone but retain their original properties. To test this, create a new map with version 1.8 and see if the new stones are visible.
Check out thread: http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/minecraft-discussion/recent-updates-and-snapshots/2172253-disastrous-single-player-flaw-in-1-8-has-this
I don't think there is a fix for this Anyway, I don't think it's a problem with the patch (fingers crossed)
Good luck,
Les
This is on a Realms server, couldn't log in with 1.7 once 1.8 went live, but.... all options are currently checked in MCPatcher. I shall have to try upatching and experimenting with the options to see what I get. I have yet to open a local world since 1.8 has come out, as the server is hogging up all my computer time I'm pretty sure it must be a glitch in Patcher now after reading Evandaron's and Schtorsch's posts. After dinner I'll fiddle with it ands report back what I find out
The typo in the case has no effect on Windows but probably on OS X and Linux, but it's fixed anyway.

The items have transparency effects at the edges:
This is caused by alpha values from 1 to 25, see http://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-68232 and http://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC-70336
Affected are the prismarine shard, the flowers, the rabbit stuff and the mutton items.

This one seems to fit Misa's realism much better! Great work
