As a fan of defscape, as that pack I have given up on it updating, THIS is going to be the pack I will use instead:triforce:. This is great, its truly great

+1. I wish I could give you more
EDIT: Nu 1.8 y
I'm thrilled that you like it. I hadn't heard of defscape before, I just checked it out. I can see why if you like that one, you would enjoy the style of "A New Realism." I had a slightly similar approach when I made this. If you'd like to give me more than a +1 you can check me out on Planet Minecraft and give me diamonds there. There are also many other texture packs that I've made, and some castle builds as well. http://www.planetminecraft.com/member/mythra13/
As far as 1.8 goes, I have done textures for much of what is new in Minecraft 1.8. The 1.7 is just a version number I'm using for "A New Realism" it doesn't reflect compatibility with default Minecraft. For all of my other texture packs the version number DOES represent the Minecraft version and the letter after the number shows how many times I've updated the texture pack for that version.
A New Realism 1.7 - New textures for all armor.
This.

pretend this signature isn't family friendly. i am a surprisingly vulgar person for some reason.

Thank you for your comment.
A New Realism 1.8 - Beginnings of an update after a LONG period of inactivity. I hope there's still interest.
