Hello I'm Beardy62 (Ratchetboy10 on Minecraft) and today I am going to share with you my first ever Resource Pack that i made!
What can I do with the pack?
The Resource pack is mainly designed for sounds and not design. Even though there are a few texture changes as well as new end credits and more. It also includes an easier understanding of enchantments.
The resource pack is still in beta testing so it will be updating
I want your feedback! Tell me what you would like to see in the resource pack and I will work hard to make it happen!
Look ok. I get it. Wool is not amazing but the point is. It's meant to be community driven! What do you want to see in the pack? Want me to edit the wool i take it? ok. What style? Come on guys.
At least TRY to make a wool. You don't have to ask. First try to make a wool texture by your self with out asking. Then when you are done with the wool, ask the community, Do you like this wool? What should I fix?
What I want, what we all want, is to see something that we haven't seen before. Something interesting. A theme or style that's striking. That's interesting. That fires the imagination and makes us see the universe differently!
Or.. you know... at least something that looks like the artist was trying.
I'll tell you what I often tell people who are having trouble picking a theme for their packs: Pick one thing about yourself. Any one aspect of your being. Favorite movie, music genre you're a fan of, 18th century art movement that's inspired you, preferred brand of milk, anything. Anything so long as it fills you with inspiration and makes you want to create art. Anything that makes your heart sing and speaks to your very soul!
Once you have found that part of yourself, that spark of inspiration, make a pack for it. Put effort into it. Put your heart and soul into it. Make it the pack of choice for anyone else who also loves that thing. Make it famous among those who feel as you do.
It won't happen over night, or in the course of a weekend, or probably even in a year's time. But when it's done, you will have yourself an amazing texture pack!
But for the love of all that is holy, please stop with this bucket-fill thing. Nobody likes it, and it's been done to death. In fact, it's been done so far to death that even the Grim Reaper is like "Oh, that style? Why I took that thing to the great beyond ages ago."
