So hello guys just typing this because i need help with a pretty MAYOR problem with my minecraft sooo i had this cpu i hadnt used in a year or so (it used to have minecraft and run it ok) but then i got a better pc and stopped using it.A little while ago my other computer broke beyond reapir and i started using this one again.
When i turned it on it runned slowly very slowly so i erased a lot of stuff, after that i openend minecraft (it was on 1.4 i think) but all the letters were unreadable like little square things,so i updated it to 1.5 (because i hate 1.6) and when i come into the new world theres no land,i cant move and if i am i definetly cant see it,my skin is like see through (the vanilla Steve skin, and you can only see liike half of the body) and my arm in the game is also. I tried taking screenshots to help express myself but i cant when i tried it crashed. And for last when i go out of the game (or it crashes) i find this java notepad file in my desktop [spoiler]#

I don't have a clue what the problem is, but how can you hate 1.6 but not 1.5, it basically the same game just with extra feature you that are your choice to use. Sounds like your pc is screwed though not a texture pack problem...
If i wanted 1.6 i just would have installed Mo´ Creatures and disabled everything but the horses

Do you have administrative rights on your computer? I'm assuming that you don't, and for some reason Minecraft is attempting to edit something that requires you do. Is your .minecraft folder saved in your Roaming directory? If crash reports are being saved to your desktop, I'm assuming that it's not.
My suggestion: delete .minecraft, re-download Minecraft Client, let it re-install and try again.

Why is your installation path set to your desktop?
you probably erased some java thingy
