There's not enough love for Mega Man, especially lately, so I made a resource pack about him. Hope the poor guy appreciates it as he struggles to get back to work. (Kinda like myself right now, in fact.)
Have a scroll through this Imgur gallery, why don't you?
I've had a lot of problems with the Minecraft forums choking on large posts, especially when I start hopping back and forth between the visual editor and the markup. There's something to be said for smaller, humbler topics though. If you really want to see me yammer on about my work (and why wouldn't someone do that when they clearly enjoy what they're doing?), see this resource pack's permanent home at www.hbuttons.com.

Time for a Super Smash Bros. update! Can you find the Smash Bros. emblem hidden in this texture pack?
I've also updated various tiles and animations. Mobs are steadily marching toward completion and I was originally going to finish all the villagers, but then Mojang changed how texture packs work AGAIN, so I decided to release my progress as-is before upgrading Megacraft Classic to the new Resource Pack format. This'll likely be the last update before the official release of 1.6.

Aaaaaaaaaaand, the conversion from Texture Pack to Resource Pack is now complete! If anyone still wants the texture pack version, just scream at me here and I'll link to it.
LOTS of changes and improvements come with the release of 1.6.1. I've finished darn near everything except the horses, which are surprisingly complex, and the Ender Dragon, which I refuse to do until the whole pack feels complete. The Ender Dragon shall be my grand finale.
Why haven't I done horses yet? Because real life is demanding that I focus on other things again, and also because they couldn't just put one horse in the game, like how there's only one cow or pig. Oh no, they had to go and do something fancy, so I have to think up how to adapt that into something equally fancy. That means trying out a whole bunch of colors and patterns to make sure they look good on each other, for one.
Fear not though. I've come this far; this pack will be completed even if it takes another couple months.

I looked at your resource pack and it is pretty cool. The only thing missing from it was that classic sound of Mega Man. How did I solve this? I added sounds to your resource pack to make it even better. I am requesting that if you want to see what I have done, I will post a download link. The sounds aren't completely finished. I still need to add mob sounds and stuff. I don't want to just post it on the Forums without getting the original creator's permission, so yeah. That's pretty much it.
With the completion of horses and the Ender Dragon, this resource pack is finally 100% complete! Hope you enjoy it!
There's all sorts of other changes and goodies waiting for you too if you try it out.

Awesome! This is pretty much the only updated megaman resource pack in existence!
I know. =( I'm so lonely. Did Blockman Dash ever rise from its grave like its creator said it would?

FINALLY updated the posts on Curse.com and Curseforge.com so they now offer the 1.6 version for download instead of the 1.5 one.
Why did it take so long? Because I couldn't figure out how to delete images from the project's gallery. Yes, it's that obtuse. It's a good thing downloading from Curse gets me points towards various rewards cause I kinda feel like I deserve one after dealing with that mystery.

One more update for the road. Previously I had retextured armor, art, the environment, GUI, items, mobs, particles, and terrain. The only thing I didn't change... was the font.
Now the font is changed at last. Plus, I was able to rip those Mega Man 8 sounds I wanted by myself. So now, my soul feels at peace.

Hello! I really think this texture pack is good but if you could please make the bow to the megabuster. I would really appreciate it if you would add a option like that! Thanks and I hope you continue this resource pack!

Hello again! So can I use this texture pack for my adventure map? It is a Megaman themed map and I already made a demo. BUT I will not release it unless you give me permission to use it because it would really look weird if I don't use it. So I'm waiting for you're approvalI hope you would permit me!

Oh, of course! It's always great to see people sharing and enjoying the things I've made. When can I get a peek at what you're constructing?
The Yamato Spear was a specific decision made according to the limits of Minecraft's mechanics, since it doesn't make much sense to be able to create a Mega Buster out of sticks and string. Granted, that kind of sense became weaker once I discovered how to give the pack its own custom language file, but there's also the fact that arrows stick out of targets they hit, and plasma bullets doing the same thing would look REALLY weird. I considered making the bow a Mega Buster that fires Super Arrows or Arrow Shots instead, or maybe even a Centaur Buster that fires Centaur Arrows, but I'm already in love with the Yamato Spear's spinning animation, so I'm just gonna leave that option available to anyone who wants to make their own Mega Man texture pack.

OK Thanks! It's not completed yet and it has been delayed because I've been out of town lately.

Hey everyone! in honor of the announcement of Mighty No. 9, I've updated Megacraft Classic yet again! It's mostly a sound update for green devils and villagers, but there are some graphical tweaks too. Download this pack now and show your love for all things true and blue!
