Thanks for your feedback. I sort of visualize the faces on soul sand as meaninglessly blabbering and maybe wailing, and the speed seems ok for that. I'll experiment with making it slower, and there is a good chance it will happen; but I'm not sure how to make it more "ghastly."
Open the "Blocksmith Hybrid v1.4.zip" and go to "textures" then "blocks" and select leaves.png, leaves.txt, leaves_jungle.png, leaves_jungle.txt, leaves_spruce.png and leaves_spruce.txt. Then press the delete key on your keyboard, or right click one of them, and click "Delete", and you're good to go! Sorry to hear the leaves aren't enjoyable for you.
Thanks!
The rest of the texture pack is very good. I love it!
I tried that initially but I only deleted the .txt because I wasn't sure if it would delete the texture entirely. I dun goofd,

Well I think if it was a tad slower, it would look more like a wailing wall than a blabbering wall, which would make it look more "ghastly".

Yeah the way textures work is interesting. If a texture is missing it will replace it with default. And if the txt file is missing you get that beautiful missing texture thing.
Have you considered making animated bookshelves? Like have a small spider running through a cobweb.
That is an interesting idea but I don't think it really fits. I'll look into it though. To do that I would want to make random textures for the existing CTM and then animate it. Possible, but I don't really know how to do random regular CTM. However I think having spiders in the regular cobwebs would be cool.
I'm almost done with a new update; it probably will be out Sunday. Hopefully tomorrow's snapshot will have the resource pack system ready.
New update! There are now over 100 animations! (Not counting duplicates like villager eyes and netherrack)
Changes:
Lily pads ripple
Potato crops sway
Carrot crops sway
Re-did ore animations. Made the 3d effect a lot more subtle and made the sparkles much smoother. (redstone ore will be redone sometime)
For MCPatcher/optifine users:
Glass panes connect
The sides of netherrack drip randomly using animated random ctm (haven't seen anyone do that before. This also took me forever to make all 208 frames. :P).
Edit: Some things that I forgot to mention:
Re-did emerald and diamond sparkle to make them smoother
Made soulsand animation slower
Also if anyone can think of a good name for this that is catchier and more descriptive, I would love to hear it.
Will this become a resource pack once 1.6 comes out, with even more epicness?
Yes, and yes I hope so. It will be a pain to convert though. Based on a sample text file dinnerbone posted, it looks like I'll have to redo all the text files. Hopefully someone makes a converter tool.
Is it possible for mob spawners to have their main item drop to float above the spawner? Or does this require class files to be edited; mods. Perhaps cocoa beans can "shine" or glow? Are zombies able to swing their arms up and down very slightly or is that already in the game? What I mean is by this.

Sadly a texture pack can't do things like that. I would have to be a mod. And zombies do swing their arms a little. I'll think about the cocoa beans. It's an interesting idea.
Oh yeah, if you could add animations to mobs that would be cool, not sure if its possible in just a texture pack though.
EDIT: I mean like actual ways they move, not just blinking.
Yeah not really possible without mods. Both of you might like this cool mod: Better animations collection It has a lot of cool mob animations that can be turned on and off.

This looks really, really nice. One thing I want to mention is that shears (at least in the video and examples) seem to clip too much, Perhaps the time where the original texture is used could be longer than the others.

Thanks for the help and the great texture pack!
Haha. The leaves are my favourite part. Without the animated leaves, the world feels dead to me, which is literally keeping me on 13w19a. XD

I agree. That would be cool.

Lilly pads are on my list. I don't just want a side to side motion so it's a challenge to make it realistic.
I'll see what I can do

Love that mod, thanks for showing it to me!
