Being originally from Canada I missed out on growing up with Dr Who. I discovered this excellent show as an adult. Luckily the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) re-broadcast the show from the beginning a couple of years ago. I was amazed that I had not found it before.
I just happen to have friends who are no less than DW fanatics and asked me to make an HD Dr Who Texture pack. Now that I have everything generally in place and superfan Drakelx555 has come in as my adviser, the pack is looking fantastic. He and I have so many more ideas, I will be tweaking for a long time to come. We have tried to balance game play and the theme hopefully we have done this well.

Please tell me what you like and, especially, what you DO NOT like. For the things that are not right, if you can tell me why they are wrong there is a good chance I will fix it, well at least try.
Don't forget you need to use MCPatcher or Optifine for this texture pack to look perfect, it uses Connected Textures.
I am very excited. I just discovered this super amazing Single Player Map that is a Vanilla version of a working TARDIS and mission game all in one. That is right, no Forge or other installs, just play it in Vanilla. It was made by AtomikMk, now maintained by PtitFennec, and they both must be brilliant because this is simply the best Vanilla mod I have ever seen. I like it so much I have made a version of The Doctor to support it.
OK Guys,
Let's have some fun. I want to add support for more of the Tardis console rooms. The current gold block is added because I support TARDIM and it is very 9-10th doctor.
I am not talking just the 11th's two (isn't he lucky), I am also talking the classic consoles also. What blocks do you think would best be used to build with?
I have lots of ideas but I want yours too. Let me know.
On this episode of The Doctor we see the return of the classic console room. The discovery of strange quartz stones leads The Doctor to stack them is such a way that he returns to the TARDIS console of yesteryear. Enjoy this nostalgic romp through the doctor's past.
BTW: you definitely want Optifine or MCPatcher for this. Soooooo much better
Awesome! =D I loved the Tom Baker years, and since then have only really watched his episodes, but this really brings back a lot. My only complaint would be that the gold block looks a bit odd, at least the circle in the center. Keep up the great work, and I love your texture packs ;D

I agree. The gold block is to support the Tardim control room with a familiar block. I plan to revamp it to integrate with a complete 9th-10th console room. Coming soon.

(koo-star-neek) The real numbers are countable and I CAN prove it. Cantor was wrong!
LOL, a great deal of practice; I am old. However, I am just learning how to edit on a computer. I can promise they will get better as I learn more about how to use gimp properly. Thank you for the compliment.

I don't think they can GET any better!
I use paint.net, do you think it's worth me learning how to use gimp?
I cannot tell you, which is better Paint.Net or Gimp. I like Gimp because it is simple and clean, yet very well supported. I have Asperger's and clutter is a real problem for me. I brought up both PDN and Photoshop and found them too much; too distracting, too much on the screen, too many things competing for my attention. (Imagine my difficulty with Adfly!). Gimp, from the box, was more to my taste. I have cleaned it up further using the options and customisation features. I am certain PDN and Photoshop have the same features and could be made Aspy friendly but I am now a Gimp fan.
The advice is find a graphics editor that matches your personality and learn it well. All editors mentioned above are fantastic. Each has quirks but each also has all capability you need to make great texture packs. BTW, the "learn it well" part is important. Many good artist have proceeded us and there are so many excellent tools and add-ons. Know your tool it make the experiece so much more fun.

I have added the actual console to the quartz CTM and I LOVE IT!. Also I have added the 9-10 Doctor Console room with CTM birch planks. I chose to use birch planks so I could maintain the basic game play and allow doctor specific structures. I hope I am getting this right.
