I must ask when will there be a changelog? (if there will be one)
Hm. I never realized there was a demand for a changelog. Guess I thought that was only for mods and stuff. XD If you guys want one, I can put one up. So far there's not much to say:
-Took over texture pack upkeep from original creator LithiumSound.
-Created new thread
-Added 1.5 textures
-Split the textures into individual pngs + created Legacy texture pack
-Created AltPack with customizer images and various vanilla-applicable mod support
And thank you to everyone giving encouragement. It's very much appreciated.
I knew about the side-dirt thing. Because the grass on it is an overlay, so it works. I just wish I could put in a little rock or something on the top, but alas...the colors won't let me.
And you mean like a stepping stone kind of thing? Because I can't think of how to do it where it doesn't have grass around it as a border. Or maybe a slightly overgrown path where there's grass along the edges between the stones. Or...you know...both. LOL
Right now I'm trying to finish up some stuff in the main pack and create support for Bibliocraft (bookshelves, potion shelves and desks FTW.) After that...who knows.
Maybe it's because Optifine isn't completely compatible with 1.5 if that's what you're using. I feel bad that I can't turn up any information on it. I'm 99.99% sure that it's not the textures because they're actually working in my install. (I installed Forge and for some reason that fixed it without anything else. But I don't recommend that as a fix because some people don't like Forge for whatever reason.)
Because I have to write up the text file that tells the game how to animate it now. They changed it up. I miss it, too. It really added a lot of depth to the world just because it would move. (Makes walking around not so boring.) Every so often college classes will rise up and make themselves a nuisance, too.
enjoy the pack and hope its on the customizer soon
but i have a question. i imported the origional Pack from the customizer ( was labled as Summerfields_29 and imported it into 1.5.1 format, but when i rezip and rename it will not load into Minecraft, the only way i can load it is through an unziped folder, i am using winRar.
basically i made the Wool the 4 block grids from the customizer as well as the Wooden and Iron door diffrent.
I noticed that the fire texture is different, and it seems a bit out of place looks wise. Maybe switch it back to Lithium's texture?
There wasn't actually a custom fire texture. Or at least none that I've ever found for SummerFields. I pulled the colors from the lava texture, but I think the issue is that it's too 'smooth' compared to everything else. It's been bugging me, too, but I can't figure out what to do to it to make it better.
