Hello there! I was just wondering if I could have permission to use the textures of the 1.7 version to make a metadata texture pack, in a similar fashion to the well known Conquest texture pack.
If you are planning on freely sharing the textures you make/changes you make to the pack structure, you can use it. That's what the 'share-alike' bit means. :3
I know I appreciate anyone who wants to contribute to the pack.
I tried to keep the strong vertical lines of the end stone through most of the natural stuff from the End.
Also purple. Lots of it. (Why? I don't know. I just referenced color from the default textures. I could change it quite easily if anyone has any other ideas!)
We've got the beet, we've got the beet...yeeeeaaaaaaah.
Rest under the spoiler!
Chorus plant. I think it needs more work. Ideas?
'Dead' Chorus flowers.
Purpur (I hope they change that name. LOL) and Endstone bricks.
Endstone bricks + endstone
I built a purple thing. (Shows slabs, stairs, columns and regular)
Tops of the column blocks.
The live Chorus flower.
I haven't started on the Shulker or items yet.
(And I'm a little annoyed that they split the compass and clock textures into separate tiles. Maybe they'll switch them back. I hope so.)
I had thought that they were...but it seems that those were only for the rendering of the items. :\
I've been inspired to start messing around with them for some of the other blocks. I must say that after four days that my crafting tables is looking awesome. :3
So maybe I'll have a look at making some models for the doors next.
Sorry. I've been working on something really really big with SummerFields. (I don't want to say what it is because I don't want people asking me when I'll be done. LOL SOON. That's all.)
I'll see about getting the few 1.9 textures I have done up. I liked yours a lot, so I didn't know if I should bother to finish off my own versions. X3
Is there any news re: 1.9? I really want to use SummerFields but I can't seem to download the 1.9 textures above and am hoping for an official update soon.
This support is intended for Minestrappolation 4 (version 4.2.666)
*There are alternate cobblestone, mossy cobble, and stone brick tops/side variations that I feel mesh better with the stone textures I made for this support pack. It's why I included them here. You can choose to use them or not but I think they look rather spiffy. Although I made them so that's biased. ;D
PS: It's still not what I would call 100% done. All in-game textures are complete and it is usable! However: There are unused textures in my game that I didn't do because I can't test them and I don't know if they're implemented in the mod yet. Once they are or I find out how to get them in-game, I will update. Also there are even more models that need edited but that takes a long time. As I get them finished I'll update. You can switch them off in the mod if they irritate you. (You don't want to know how many hours I spent on that crafting bench! You do NOT. XD)
ALSO: Lipki, if you want to take any of the special models like said crafting table and add them to the default pack, please do. :3
And a pic just in case no one trusts me anymore. LOL I mean, I haven't done anything this big for a long time. It shows a variety of blocks and items from the mod.
Look to the right hand side of the page. There will be a button that says "Download .zip". Click it.
BOOM. 1.9 textures.
You're welcome.
(And I don't update my own game properly until my mods have updated. It's one of the reasons I kind of stepped back from doing major work. And I know a lot of other people do the same thing so, yeah, I think my mod support will be appreciated. XD)
Thinking on it, I think I might write up a little walk-through for people looking for the absolute latest textures since the website page doesn't update until a proper release is done. It would avoid people being confused in the future. XD
Sorry about that. I thought someone would have said something about being able to download the actual 'working release' straight from the Github 'hub'.
I tried un-ziping it and reziping it, didn't help. I can see the textures in the folders, but in game it looks like this, 1.8 and below fine, 1.9 is still default: Oddly the dragon head texture shows up but none of the other block do.
Hm. That's weird. I know they're in the file because I just opened up my own download and saw them in there. O_O
Let me see what I can do.
{edit}
I think I've got it. It's the way the folder structure is inside the default .zip.
Try just dropping the "Summerfields-master" folder into your resource pack folder and loading it from there. It can't see past the 'summerfields-master' folder within the .zip file. (Basically the 'master' folder should not be there. What is inside of it should be zipped as the root files.)
If that sounded complicated, I'm sorry. Basically this is what's happening:

The pack is released under CC.

Basically, boiled down to simple terms:

1.9 textures...wat think?

I really like your Shulkers. XD
And it looks like we had the same idea on the endstone bricks.
Thaumcraft and Minefantasy 1 on your to-dos would be wonderful.
Are the 3d models for the doors out yet?
I had thought that they were...but it seems that those were only for the rendering of the items. :\

The door models have been out for a while now, but I believe 1.9 has broken some of lipki and my files for them.
Ah, so I wasn't losing my mind in a wave of illness induced tiredness.
And they'll do the same thing every other boy band wants to do. Eat your brains. Wait. What? That's not right. >:|

This has taken me months.
683 block textures. 265 item images. 9 full sets of armor. 8 GUIs. Many edited block models. 9 alternate vanilla textures*
I give to you.

Sorry CuddleWoozle, this looks cool and all but what about 1.9? Just a guess, but more people will be playing that that this mod
........
Do you understand how github works? You can download the latest stuff from there.

I admit I'm confused. Sorry if I messed up. I went to the Github, downloaded it, installed it in game etc and still no 1.9 textures.
It should work. The textures are there.
Maybe you need to un-zip it to get the game to 'see' it. I know I had that issue a while back with a previous version of Minecraft.
Did you put it at the top of the texture pack list in the game? That should override the other textures from any other packs you might have.
Unless there have been changes to the way Minecraft reads resource packs.
I tried un-ziping it and reziping it, didn't help. I can see the textures in the folders, but in game it looks like this, 1.8 and below fine, 1.9 is still default: Oddly the dragon head texture shows up but none of the other block do.

If that sounded complicated, I'm sorry. Basically this is what's happening:
When zipped the game is seeing the file path as:
Summerfields-master.zip/Summerfields-master/assets
And it -should- be
Summerfields-master.zip/assets
There's an extra folder that doesn't need to be there. My guess is github put it there.
