I noticed you have the same issue. You didn't recolor your dragon breath's particles. Do you know how to recolor them using mcpatcher?
The dragon's breath particles are the color I want them to be for the time being so I have no interest in changing them. Particularly not with MCPatcher as it stopped updating before the dragon's breath was introduced. As such, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that it's very likely this simply isn't possible.
Well I found another issue. Your lead is the same as vanilla's and I also have the same issue with the latest version of optifine. I am not talking about the lead knot the regular lead

"Feature Request" and "Issue" are not the same thing. Sanity doesn't have a custom lead texture since that's not a thing that vanilla MC can do, and I don't think it was ever added as an Optifine feature either. I might consider looking into it, but it's such a small thing that it's not really a priority for me.

I noticed even though it was inside there it did nothing. I realized yesterday that it was an mcpatcher issue and since optifine took over mcpatcher they should fix it. So don't call an issue an enhancement. That means you are acting like the people on microsoft who never get any issues fixed because alot of the issues reported are marked off as enhancements without really doing anything. Or for example mojang new launcher is still bugged with every output besides their own and crashes with mc 1.5.2 and below and they considered this un-reproducable because, they never actually ran through and tested this / get user bug input. https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCL-5830 . Politicians use the same type of thing by claiming there is something nothing wrong when the reports go through the roof and obviously there is. Don't be like either of these people their logic is corrupted please take some advice from an actual coder. That being said as said above I know this isn't an actual issue with your texture pack but, hopefully it will be fixed soon with optifine.

Sheesh. I guess this just goes to show how long it's been since I've seriously worked on this pack. I forgot this was actually a thing.
Regardless, if it's an Optifine issue it's still out of my hands to fix/add. I have no control over Optifine, nor does Microsoft/Mojang. We're both quite correct in saying that mod issues are not our problem, so please bring your issue to the proper source.
Edit: According to Optifine's docs, leads and fishing lines aren't Optifine features. I really wish people would stop perpetuating the myth that Optifine can or is supposed to do everything that MCPatcher could do. It doesn't. Some features have been ported, but Optifine's development is focused on shader support and not Resource Pack enhancement. It doesn't have everything that MCPatcher had... just most things which confuses people.
. The "Almost Up to Date" Update is now Available! "Sanity" Is (sorta) updated to Minecraft 1.12.0. Please help test it out!
Not a full update, but it's at least functional. I'm still missing the beds and new mobs, but I'm hoping to get them done soon-ish.
Life has very much taken me away from Minecraft, and I admit that I'm not enjoying working on this pack much. Nobody seems to care about it, and that's not helping me to work on it much. I know that 16x packs aren't popular and that everyone is going for the "xtreme HD" look these days, but I always hoped that my little pack would have some kind of fan base. Sadly it doesn't appear that that's really the case as the compliments and encouragement have all but dried up. Unless I regain my desire to play this game again then Minecraft 1.12 might be the last version I update for.
Regardless, please enjoy the update. You can download it from the link below:
As always when I have a big release, feedback and encouragement are greatly appreciated... assuming anyone cares about this little pack anymore. I really appreciate anyone who has stuck with this project and enjoyed using this pack. So if this is the last version I update for, I want to take this opportunity to say a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who has supported me over the years.
. The "Colorful Dreams" Update is now Available! "Sanity" Is (mostly) updated to Minecraft 1.12.0. Now with shiny new beds!
Not much to say other than that this should have been in the game YEARS ago! Glad to finally put these textures to use in vanilla since I made them for a mod years ago.
Oh, and I also did some GUI stuff for Minecraft Reams for the one person who has one.
You can download the latest version by clicking on this shiny logo image:
Feedback is appreciated, but I know I'm probably not going to get any. That's fine. I just hope someone out there is enjoying this pack still.
"Sanity" Is (COMPLETELY) updated to Minecraft 1.12.0. New mobs ahoy!
I've found myself getting back into this pack a little bit, so I might update it a little longer. We'll see how it goes. I know for a fact that there will be at least a couple more updates simply because I've already been working on them. For the time being, though, I think I'm going to pause work on Sanity to work on Mint Flavor instead.
As for this update, it's all about the new mobs. Parrots have been added in all of their multi-colored glory. I also added the Illusionist, even though he's not part of the survival game just yet. He can still be summoned, though, so if anyone's using my pack for a map then he's good to go!

Feedback on textures new and old is greatly appreciated. Really any sorts of comments would be nice. It's been awful quiet in this thread recently.
I've been wanting to do these for a long time. I did the original armor textures for this pack WAAAaaaaay back in Beta Minecraft. I've learned a lot since then, both about how I wanted this pack to be styled and about low-resolution art in general. I'm MUCH happier with now these new versions look, and I sincerely hope that you all are too.

As always, I'd love to hear from anyone who's enjoying this pack. And for that matter, people who don't like it. Let me know what you think so that I can improve it! Feedback is always appreciated!
I cant BELIEVE that i've only found this amazing pack up in till now.....
This is such an amazing pack for survival and building! You can just feel the hard work that's been put into this and I thank you for making such an amazing pack! It's also one of the few old texture packs that are still being updated. Dont know how this thing is 16x though because it looks like 32x And it makes me sad that you've lost motivation to work on this pack anymore but I just have to say that I hope more people will play with this pack because it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooo gud.
P.S. I know that you've lost enjoyment in updating with this pack but if you could could you make diamond armor look less different than iron armor when it's enchanted? Cause they look the same :3
enter].The "Armor UP!" Update is now Available!"Sanity" is now updated to Minecraft 1.12.1 with swanky new armor to boot! Changes to this version include, but may not be limited to:

Not a fan of the diamond armor could you either make it more like vanilla colors or clear crystal
I cant BELIEVE that i've only found this amazing pack up in till now.....

Thank you, I'm glad you like the pack!
Yea, it's been tough getting motivation to work on this. I rarely get feedback either good or bad, and most of what I get is asking me to change things for entirely arbitrary reasons. I'm not against changing things, but I need to understand and agree with the reason people want those changes. Speaking of which...
P.S. I know that you've lost enjoyment in updating with this pack but if you could could you make diamond armor look less different than iron armor when it's enchanted? Cause they look the same :3
Make them look more the same because they already look the same? What?
Let's assume for a moment that you phrased that wrong and wanted them to be MORE different rather than less different, which would match up with the "Cause they look the same" statement. First... they really don't. Even without being able to see the colors, diamond is quite a bit darker than iron which is intentionally very bright in this version. It's also got a lot more grit to it where as iron is very smooth. I also checked them out with an enchantment glint, but the glint in this pack is intentionally made to be VERY minimal. It shouldn't obstruct your ability to differentiate between the two armors at all.
If this is really an issue, can you post a screenshot of what you're talking about? Also, under what circumstances are you having a hard time telling the difference in these two apart from just when they're enchanted? The more information I have, the more likely I am to be able to fix the problem... or properly ignore it if it's a PvP gripe.
Not a fan of the diamond armor could you either make it more like vanilla colors or clear crystal
No. I think vanilla should make their armor more like mine.
But seriously, asking me to make things more like vanilla is a sure-fire way to make me not care about your request. I'm sorry, but it is. While I know this pack still technically counts as "default redux" I do not now nor will I ever feel the need to be beholden to ANY choice Mojang makes for the default so long as it's within my power to change it.
And also I don't feel like re-balancing all of the diamond stuff in the entire pack. That would take a lot of work, and I don't think I'd be happy with it.
You are, of course, free to edit the textures with a cyan overlay to change their color if you so desire.
And cyan diamonds, the rarest kind of diamond on planet Earth, being relatively common somehow isn't? I know not all of my choices are perfect, but I feel like that one in particular is justified.
So a few updates have come out that I haven't posted here. It usually doesn't feel like there's a lot of activity here so I often just skip MCF. I mean, look up above. I posted like four updates in a row without anyone else commenting. If you've ever wondered why I don't always feel motivated to work on this, well, that's why.
But I have been working on it. Just very slowly. So if you haven't downloaded Sanity in a while, go ahead and do so. You'll find there are some changes. Hopefully ones that you like.
I thought I'd try something different this time. Instead of announcing an update and getting no comments, I'm just going to show you all something I've been working on and ask for your opinions. Not officially in the pack just yet, just an improvement that I like and am hoping you'll all like too.
Ready? Here it is:
I've been working on improving some of the GUIs. Most of them are going to be pretty subtle touches, but a few like this one are major revisions. Those who keep up on the updates (or follow me on Twitter) will know I've already done a couple of different versions of the Brewing Stand GUI. I'm hoping that these changes will make everything easier to use as well as being generally better looking.
But of course, this is a pretty big change so if this pack has any fans I'd like to hear all of your opinions on the subject. Let me know if you love it or hate it. I'm all ears. Let me have it! Whatever "it" happens to be.
And that's all for me for now. I hope to see you all later.
It's a great texture pack and I think it's one of the top 5 out there but, there isn't alot to comment on for me at least. I am working on converting texture packs of my own right now.

I definitely prefer what you have there. I do find myself missing some of the border highlights but the new slots are all so beautiful I'm more than fine with it.
And I know I'm years late to say this but fantastic work on Sanity, Alvoria. It's an absolute delight with all the unique textures and care put in. ♥
Top Resource pack list I am aware of for general non seasonal use not in any specific order:
Radiant Pixles
LB Photo realism
Sanity
Fantasy > console/windows 10 edition
Terraria
Legopack(I don't have the latest they made for 1.7 it's been down)
Simple pack ( I don't have the exact name but, it was for a contest and I had to use wayback machine to find the download) I would have to dig through to find it.
I noticed you have the same issue. You didn't recolor your dragon breath's particles. Do you know how to recolor them using mcpatcher?
This is really more Minecraft's fault than mine, but I'll see if there's anything I can do to rectify it. Thanks for the heads up!
