It looks really great! Though the slight tweaks you made to the pack I'm not a fan of... Will there ever be a possibility of a pure default with the animations?
You can deletes the folders "gui/ (items & hunger icon)" & "mob/ (all the mobs)" & the file "terrain.png (blocks)" from the texture pack. All animated textures contained in "anim/" folder.
Here are some things that i dont like so much on it (i hope i dont make you mad with this):
-Diamond Tools should have the Vanilla Texture but should be animated like the Diamond Ore
-Make the Iron,Gold and Diamond Blocks not flashing so fast
-Pine Leaves are Animated in a Weird-Pulsating way
-The Book&Quill Item looks kinda weird with the brown lines same as the Enchanted book
-The Iron Bar Item should keep the Vanilla Texture
-Water,Laver Bucket should be animated (i think items cant be animated or can they?)
-Enderpearl,Eye of Ender should be animated
But its still Awesome ^.^
Nope nope you're a nice guy.
The Diamond Tools set personally I don't like it be blue, but it's okay to make an extra patch for vanilla twinkling effect. (Diamond Sword alone at post #41)
Actually I'm not quite interesting about the Diamond Block etc with the flash, but many people requested so I put them in.
You're right, the Pine Leave animation should make it better later. Also the items should fix it soon.
About the item's animation, right it is possible to do that. At first, because of the enchantment effect happened on items, I worried about the animation effect will make the user confusing with it. But right, at least the Eye OF Ender should has the exception, and I'll think about the other possibilities to make more fun stuffs.
do you need optifine for the animations ? I'm trying to play with as less mods as posibble. ^^' so i have 2 mods and youre texture pack
Too bad without mod there's no animation effect of textures.
Optifine is a good mod which enhance the effect of visual quality, let your game run smoother and faster, & optionally supported animated texture, collected texture etc.
I like just about everything but diamond. Seems weird not having the full texture on it. I think it would look better the old vanilla way with animation.

A good news is we don't need any mod for the animation textures, the vanilla Minecraft added that function.
A bad news is I need more extra time to convert everything to the new format of texture pack.

Oh okay I think I should make a patch for the animated vanilla diamond tool-set like the diamond sword at post #41.
Upgraded to 13W02B - version 0.7 (for snapshot 13W02B)
- Moon animation removed (hope can add it back later)
- Netherwart animation added back (because the glitch is gone)
It would be awesome if you could animate the mobs, like make sheep wool flow in the wind or make creeper eyes glow red at the corner bottoms... it would be awesome if the mobs blinked too!

I could put something clever here... but i decided not to...

With Optifine or MCPatcher, it is possible animates everything in game.
However, animation on mobs has another problem, if the animation effect just with slightly change, like put my waving-leaves effect on a creeper, it's hard to recognizes the effect on it with a moving mob. The other problem is it maybe looks weird indoor. Or something like the blinking eyes, it's also weird with all the cows blinks their eyes together at the same times.
About the glowing eyes effect, too bad even made the eyes with the brightest colour, it doesn't means it can glow in the dark like the spider or enderman. If really want this kind of effect, better ask a modder to do that.
But yes, it is a good step for started thinking about the ideas of mobs with animated texture. With good idea, even with simple technic can creates some amazing stuffs.
Looks cool! I like these sort of default-improvement texture packs.
However, I imagine it would be a bit hurtful on the eyes to have the whole Nether pulsing like that.

It's especially nice, since with the way the textures are working since this latest snapshot, this won't even require any mods to use.

version 0.8 (for snapshot 13W02B) with the animated texture below:
You means the software or the images?

- DEFAnimation Twinkle Toolset patch 1.1 (for 1.5.0)
Installation:
- extract the zip files of the Patch
- drag all the stuff (textures/ folder) into the Texture Pack
However, I imagine it would be a bit hurtful on the eyes to have the whole Nether pulsing like that.
