Awesome work you did with this ressource pack. I've been using it ever since i found it, with the shaderpacks (Continuum in my case) and it looks great! I wanted to go back to your website to see what's new since I'm about to start a FTB Beyond Playthrough... but for some reason the website is locking me out ! Is it some maintenance your doing? Out of this issue, I have to say I really like your pack and wish it was ready for FTB Beyond and the such. I know it must be a monstruous task to make a texture set for the thousand new blocks there is.. For now I've been mixing BDcraft Sphax with yours on top to replace the vanilla textures..
If someone knows a ressource pack that fits better than Sphax with Chromahill I'd be glad to know! Looking mainly for something similar to Chromahill with the normals maps if possible.
I'd love to use this pack but when i do everything is this really awkward orange color. is this normal from torch lighting? i mean everything is the same color when lit up. Is this normal?
when having this resource pack installed with SEUS shaders, the trees glow intensely to the point where its unplayable. Both me and my friend installed the same thing at the same time, works for him but not for me. ive attached a picture showing whats happening. If anyone has any ideas as to why its happening that would be awesome.

Just a funny thing happened to me the other day. I was messing about with my dyed sheep, and I realized when I sheared them, they all appeared white. I thought, what's goig on?! I'm sure I've read in the changelog that at some version of the game sheep retained their visual colour even when shaved? Should I report a bug with my JIRA account?
But then it came to me: oh wait, I'm using Chroma Hills, the resource pack hasn't included that update yet, silly me
So sad that all mob textures are so complicated and time consuming to make. But no matter, Chroma Hills is the best, I never play without it, so I often don't even realize I'm using a resource pack haha.
*Edit:
Wait, what? Even in vanilla sheep appear white when shaved. It's not in the changelogs either. How come did I think this would be fixed??? :very_confused_smiley:

I really really like how the furnace looks now, the animation and particles are awesome. I like the detaillevel you've put into that.
Also the mobs are very cool. Even the magma slime, I think looks really cool. The eyes aren't finished yet of course, but the reason I like it is because it now resembles the magma block itself, which vanilla doesn't even do.
The coloured bed patterns I also really like. The variety makes it more useful than the vanilla recolours.
I love your work on the GUIs. It looks very nice how you've managed to get it themed like this with recurring patterns etc. The book hanging on chains, haha how awesome. I did notice though, that the recipe book in the regular survival inventory does not show a hover outline, like it does in the crafting table inventory.

Hey Syclone, I just updated to Minecraft 1.12.2, and the game rename into "Minecraft Java Edition" is messing up the Chroma Hills logo in the title screen. There is this new image file I found in the assets called "edition.png" which contains the text. It is rendered partially on top of the logo. Just reporting this to you

Jens Bergensten just posted on a minecraft.net blog that they're going to simplify the horse model. I'm not sure whether I should be happy or sad about this. I'm glad they're simpliflying it, more inline with the other vanilla creatures, but I'm sad it's going to loose the current level of detail.
So the horse textures will probably have to be reworked again before you can finalise them with those markings, when this comes out in the next update.

HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!! 2012 I released first update of CH, I carried on working on it year after year and millions of people downloaded it!! Syclone Studios games was formed because of CH and the people I met and our company has signed as a official creator with MinecraftMicrosoft
We will be bringing CH to all platforms via the official store but not only that we are going to make new content for the store also along the lines of adventure maps, skins, worlds.
A very exciting 2018 lies ahead it's been quite a ride so far!
