Ugh. Why does Mojang keep changing the texture format each release? Syclone, I bet you and other pack makers say this every time. It means more work for you and it means people like me to not get to play your pack again until weeks after a release. As you know 1.13 is in pre-release now and I love the new content. I would just want to play with your existing 1.12 pack and 1.13 but no I can't. Even after I change the pc.metafile to format 4, most of the textures are purple-black incompatible blobs.
Any chance of getting a more compatible Chroma Hills for 1.1.3 soon? Don't care about any of the new stuff.

The PAIN is real i know!
I'm having to get everything ready together as i'm working on both Bedrock and Java releases the workload is intense. They totally changed and broke so much in 1.13. My focus is to get it all working on bedrock then use that to fix and create a new java version and because its such a huge workload (months on Aquatic update) I'm having to get it all done in one big chunk than releasing small fixes/updates for my own sanity!
I'll get CH 1.13 out soon as i can but its not going to be for a little while. Also all the CH horses are ruined with the new simple crap model so they have be to be massively re worked just for Java (they wont look great i'll do what i can with the new awful model).

Syclone, wanted to let you know of a small bug in the 1.13 pack. "repeater_off.png" is not the correct name. Your repeater off texture is not rendering. It should be "repeater.png". Note, "repeater_on.png" is correct for the ON texture.

Well I always enjoy it. I haven't tried the 1.13 update yet because I cannot run that game version until I setup my new machine. I really like the pack so much. It feels so strange everytime I play MC on other machines without it.
I even introduced my girlfriend and she says she likes it more and more the more she sees me playing it. She downloaded it last weekend.
Chroma Hills 1.13 almost works with SEUS Renewed 1.0.0, some logs wave instead of the leaves and water, and the water is static (I think SEUS Renewed is only for 1.12). But the weather effects and normal mapping (bump mapping) are spectacular. I also noticed that there's only one flavor of Creeper in Chroma Hills 1.13. But they're Creepers, I'd rather see zero Creepers when I'm balanced on a ledge above lava with a bunch of diamonds in my pocket. But enough with the nit-picks...
Chroma Hills looks just plain amazing! Thanks for keeping up with such an awesome resource pack!
i think the water is too dark , can't see much through it should be able to see more through the water , can you change that or tell me how to do it so i can do it for myself (from outside of the water. and to be balanced with the flowing water of course

This update went from around 50+ to 100+ tweaks, fixes, reworks, improvements as all of the enhanced Optifine features are now back working on 1.13.
CHROMA HILLS V2 JAVA HUGE UPDATE ***USE OPTIFINE for all the extra features and performance benefits***
**NOTICE** This is NOT a shaders normal/bump mapping update but some have remained in the pack a separate shaders pack update will be coming later**
***NOTICE** Sorry horses are not done yet its a huge task to do all the horses and horse armor again almost from scratch, weeks of work just for that. (please contact me if you know how to use Optifine custom entities to keep the current horse and horse armor in the pack)
Change log:
100+ updates with all the reworks, animation stages, variations and large amount of work on all the extra Optifine features and fixes.
Re did all veg based crops to be more juicy and satisfying to harvest.
Fixed all Optifine files to work with 1.13!
Rotated shovels to match other items
Re textured and improved visuals of wooden gates
Re worked all visuals of gates in hand
Re worked all visuals of fences in hand and in GUI
Refined stone slab side texture
Made stained glass more see through and refined all outer edge frames.
Re worked and improved art for brown stained glass (boarded up window)
Refined black stained glass texture
Reworked and improved default glass texture (Must use OPTIFINE for transparent glass feature)
Reworked dark oak leaves to differentiate from standard oak.
New poppy artwork replacing the old rose flower item texture.
Added Realms icons
Reworked sign to have a lighter background to read text easier.
Reworked creeper texture (cleaner style)
Added new random mob creeper variations (Optifine only)
That was a good call, the model changed again in 18w03a. Keep up the good work, you're going to need it next for Update Aquatic...

I assumed it was Chroma Hills Resource pack as that is what I use but it seems to be present still without any resource packs...

I feel with you, Syclone. You just want to finish your pack, but each time they keep changing everything. It must be hurting so much.

Chroma Hills PC JAVA 1.13 AQUATIC UPDATE IS NOW LIVE!!!
Horses will follow as they are still broken and need some time spent on them as they ruined them with the new simple model update.
As always CH is a work in progress on Java so some things aren't done which is menus/GUI.

yeah your download link is 100% broken, which is annoying cause it's apparently the most popular pack, and it's just everywhere
