My water appears to be very grey with this texture pack, contrary to what the screenshots depict.
Anyone familiar with this? >_>;;
Water color depends on the biome you are in. Some areas (I think tundra) have a very dull shade of water. If you don't like it you can open the zip and delete misc/watercolor.png and misc/watercolorX.png.
Also an update is intended for the newest version. Also as for better skies no idea, I might but I haven't even used it so I'll have to sit down and try it out before I can actually see if I'll support it or not.
can you update the pack to 1.4.6?
it does'nt work for me in 1.4.6
Please don't ask for updates, the pack will be updated whenever the uploader gets the time, and your input of updates is already noted even before you post, since its a standard understanding people like updates, so just give some support and bide your time :3
Not sure if I've ever mentioned it...but I friggin love this pack!!! It's the only one I use. I try out other packs but I always come back to this one. Just feels right!!!
Wow, just learned there are idiots out there who believe Dusty stole his own textures. These whippersnappers should realize Dusty was churning out amazing textures way before these simpletons wore figurative diapers...
I was going to wait until 1.5 to release a new update but it seems like 1.5 is still a far bit away. However this new snapshot is so exciting! It's definitely got me interested in Minecraft for a little while longer(a very important factor in motivation) so expect an update soon. And thanks for the support It's always better to hear someone who knows what they're talking about, rather than the very vocal people who think I'm a thief.
I just wanted to say that this pack is extremely underapreciated. I hate that people think you stole the textures and cannot read the credits in the other texture packs. Keep up the good work and I'm sure you'll get the recognition you deserve.
What's been done?
> Enchanted book item graphic
> Firework star item graphic
> Firework rocket item graphic
> New particles for fireworks
> Also updated/added some older particle effects I never got around to doing(trail effects, dripping water, poison)
Enjoy! And apologies for no snapshot stuff yet. I know there's a lot of exciting stuff in them so I hope to get to them soonish.
It opens up some creativity at least. I'm thinking of making my watch more like a real pocket watch, with numbers and hands.
Ya. I was thinking about remaking the clock anyways so that it looks like an actual clock, now that you can hang them on walls with item frames. Wish you could just plunk them on a wall without the item frame though
Either way I'm going to hop in Java and write up some code to handle this tedius animation stuff for me. I'll probably post it here. For the clock it will probably animate some hands. And if I'm feeling generous I may even write up a program to export it using the old method of rendering the image under the clock/compass, for those who are sticking to using the traditional designs.

I'm not having the same issue, if it's solid great then it sounds like watercolors aren't being applied correctly. Did you patch your client?

The quartz blocks are looking relatively very good.
