I hate to suggest something, knowing how busy you may be. As far as 1.8+ with Mojang basically removing metadata values. I thought since you can now rename bows, swords, and armor on the anvil to change its appearance. Couldn't you do the same with blocks, too? Like changing the name of cobwebs to steam/smoke/rope/plants. Would that be possible, if anyone reading this can chime in?
Can confirm this happens to me as well with Continuum shaders. But Conquest of the Sun seems to work perfectly fine for me, as well as Chocapic and MrMeepz shaders. I'm using forge 2489, liteloader 1.122.2-00-snapshot, and optifine C5. I haven't tried different versions yet to try to fix the issue with Continuum shaders so I'll update once I do.
What shaders do you all have that are doing this bug?

I tried Choapic, Conquest of the Sun, Trilliton's shaders, KUDA shaders. KUDA shaders 6.1 Legacy has less bugs, than others. No ripple, just crazy colors in connections. I add example of unnormal colors
PS. I reinstall Windows from 7 to 10, but it doesnt help, so I come back to Windows 7.
I don't think Windows would be the problem since I'm running Wins7 x64. It's definitely not a RAM problem either since I dedicate 16GB's to it. I'm running 1.12.2 on Minecraft by the way.
Here's my list in order and what it looks like with the pictures.
ConquestoftheSun V.4.0, Continuum, Chocapic13 V5, MrMeepz v05
ConquestoftheSun and Chocapic are the only ones that don't have issues. Continuum is having the same issue you are having with overlay textures. MrMeepz has blocks flickering in and out, making them transparent. I'm not positive if it's a texture pack issue, shaders issue, or something else. But I only got this issue when overlays came with the pack. All these shaders work perfectly fine with other versions and the Conquest Reforged mod.
When I get the time I'll try different texture packs with overlays, and try different versions of optifine as well. I'm no expert - just trying to rule out the possibilities and try and find a solution. Wish you luck on finding a fix!

No, you can't. While you can name all of those items in the anvil the nbt data isn't stored when a block is placed into the world. For instance you can name a cobweb "rope" and have it look like rope in your hand but as soon as the block is placed it will turn into a cobweb and breaking it will only ever return string or an unnamed cobweb. This comes up repeatedly in Optifine discussions and it just currently isn't possible to expand CIT to incorporate blocks no matter how much we want it or how nicely we ask.
Hey o/ Sorry if this has already been asked, big fan of the texture pack, but I've got a problem which I dont even understand, usually I fix my own stuff cause I like to know why it happened and how to change said issue, this time however I am maybe blind. I am using biomes o plenty and combine jstr with it which fits it pretty good, but that hasnt anything to do with this particular issue. my problem is that most of the leaves are white instead of their original color? with only john smiths the leaves are perfectly fine but conquest seems to interrupt with that, with only conquest the leaves are white/grey with the original color kind of shining through here and there even tho it should load the default texture of it right? These are examples of what I am talking about: the first picture is using only conquest and the second with jstr just for understanding purpose. Sorry if this is not the correct forum for this.
no i just dont have much free time to dedicate to the project at the moment to get information on development etc join the conquest communityhub on discord https://discord.gg/ehTcUDk where i post about the times i go live on twitch to work on the textures

Did Monster abandon the texture resource pack for vanilla Minecraft?
