Yes to connected textures and I'm running Optifine HD C3 Ultra. I know it's not the newest version of OF but it is the version that http://conquestreforged.com/manual links to currently.
Hm, have a strange situation. Got 1.1 version of MC, 1.1 version of Conquest, 1.1 version of Ultra Optifine. Same settings in options menu as before. But ingame textures became... low res or something like that... Stone block became rather ugly and patchy. Some blocks form a composition, some not... Don't even know, what am I doing wrong? Last version I used was 1.8.9, so I was out of main events for a while. Maybe I've missed some serious changes during this period? Tnx in advance.
The 1.11 update requires that all folders and files inside the pack are lowercase. you will have to go into the pack and rename everything to fix it (like i successfully did).

It might also be that you havent set connected textures to fancy/fast

I suppose they are activated, since most of the blcoks do form a picture, like iron blocks, lazuli or chiseled ones, and some of them - not. Besides, afaik, connected textures do not affect the quality of the textures.

Yo, yo not so fast, I'm writing it down I'm all ears. What exactly should I do? Rename... how?
you have to rename every file that is Uppercase in the pack to lowercase ^^ mc 1.11 can't handle that anymore, monsterfish knows about that ^^ and i think he will fix that to in a future update of conquest.
Ah, i didnt know that either. Thanks for the info.
I'm on Linux (Lubuntu 16.10 64bit), my graphics card is nvidia GTX 1050 with the latest drivers and I have this glowing glitch on that extra foliage on leaves when there's a source of light near.
Happenes with pretty much with every shader I tried so far (Sildur, Kuda, Chocapic13) and only in this resource pack. Other packs with normal leaves are all fine. Even better foliage mod has no problems. Same thing was happening with my older radeon graphics card. Any ideas?
Glitch seen when I hold the torch.
And with no torch it's normal, but I also noticed some grey foliage.
With no shaders everything looks normal.
During a light is ok but it gets pretty annoying during the nigh where there ae some lights near.
I have the same issue with my shaders and Conquest. Im still looking into this, but it might be Better Foliage that renders something wrong.
Happens to me too, and it's definitely not Better Foliage since I'm not using it, but it could be OptiFine or Sildur's Shaders.
Another shader-specific problem with Conquest is when standing under a tree, the hanging leaves texture reflects in the water even though the tree leaves are in my face and the water is in the distance. That one is definitely because of the shader.
Hello! Recently I ran into a llittle bit of trouble with the biome specific textures. To keep things short, I wish to change/remove the super light gravel texture. I have a plot on a server which lies in a birch forrest biome but it ****s up all the gravel I've used for roads. For hours now I have been searching, looking in the files themselves and on google but so far...nothing.
Just wanted to report that I'm getting a weird issue where there are fake lights coming out of treetops, everything else looks great though!
EDIT: Noticing a similar issue on previous page... I'm getting the issue with and without shaders, shaders do accentuate the issue however by brightening the light. Hopefully someone finds a fix soon, this is a pretty annoying thing!!

Its a known bug.
There might be a solution to it to whitelist the leaves in Better Foliage.
I really need some assistance here! I have been using Conquest Resource Pack for nearly as long as i have played minecraft and LOVE it!
Im playing on 1.10.2 on my own server and have been using 1.9 version of the resource pack because with the 1.10 version all the stained clays just appear as the same brown texture. It has been working fine for weeks now yet last night my server crashed and everytime i load back in it crashes.
I selected the default minecraft texture and was able to load in fine and do everything, when i then selected the Conquest Resource Pack again and my game crashed.
Who have resource pack v.9.8 or higher for MC 1.7.10?
https://adf.ly/1dJiZA is the link to the installer. If you can't use adf.ly, go to http://ravand.org/launcher/ . If you can't use the installer and just want the latest version, there's https://adf.ly/l24Lk or http://ravand.org/texturepacks/Conquest_.zip . I hope that helps. (I'm sorry if the packmakers don't want me giving out direct links, but there are people having problems with adf.ly giving them malware. But I will remove the links if you still insist.)
In other news, apparently a Youtuber named Dan Mike is making an Conquest add-on for Lord of the Rings! Here's wishing him great success.
What edits would one have to make to turn off the 3d leaves? I love Conquest but this gray leaves/fake lights glitch is making it unplayable for me.
EDIT: Nevermind, I just ripped everything that said "leaves" out of the pack and replaced them with the original John Smith ones... This will be a fine enough temporary fix.
What version of MC are you on? 1.10.2 ??
You NEED Forge. Optifine is a mod that needs it. Also for 1.8 or higher you need to unzip the resourcepack,

yes, i also think that, but im not sure yet.

It certainly has nothing to do with better foliage, seeing as how I'm using no mods other than Optifine.
What version of OPTIFINE do you use?
You might wanna try and delete the previous optifine.cgf file. (config file) also delete your options.txt file.
Then start the game, add in the resourcepacks again. (cause the list wil be empty)
Try and enter your server. Is it a paid server? if so you can ask staff for help
