Someone who shall remain nameless has reminded me of a rather amusing story: This high-school kid who's constantly absent from class, comes to class during finals when it's half over, continues working on the exam for two hours after the time is up, then tries to hand in his exam. The teacher proclaims "Do you honestly thing I'm going to accept this?" to which the student replies "Do you know who I am?" to which the teacher responds "No." to which the student replies "Good!" and slips his exam randomly between the pile of exams on the teachers desk and walks away.
In all seriousness though, no since we're the newbies here. So, any chance of some enlightenment? :3
Who shall remain nameless.. Great.. Now I'm nameless... *wanders around without a name* .. kind of creepy..
I'd be honored but as Xion said, I have no idea who you are - Sorry, I really am the noob here.. Just been so into my own texture pack :/
Darkling - I am taking screenshots for you now, but only at half resolution, as 1.2.5 without optifine does not like my 256 resolution.
'Tis a sad day when I am not recognized
I created the Synthetic Reality texture pack, I'm the creator of the Texture Artists' Union (which you should join), and I've been on this site for more than a year lol.
I was hoping you recognized me for my Synthetic Reality pack :/
I did not participate in the community until recently, mostly because I kept to myself for the past year working on my texture pack and only came on to see templates, and to figure out what I was doing. That's again on me, not on you.
So, Hi, I'm Kimberly/Develsaa, it's nice to meet you!
Previews of Red Power - I am not quite sure if I am keeping the wires the way it is, just keep that in mind - and this is a preview, I wish to stress that, things may change - Erm, apparently the pictures are roughly 5mb because I saved them in png and then closed my editor, so keep that in mind it'll take a bit to load. Additionally these are at 128x128 the 256 is far superior.

Good to meet you! So I suppose before asking you for a collab you would probably want to see what I have to offer. Links are in my thread hub in my signature.
I wanted to say, thank you! To everyone really, as of a few moments ago, I got my 10,000 download on my texture pack! Not bad for a week and a half. Thank you all so much!
Nice pack... Already downloaded. One question I had though is; are you planning on doing any bump maps for us GLSL peeps?
I can elaborate if I am not clear on what I mean.
I am a little behind, but the mapping is getting done. I'm still working on my pack at the same time, so bear with me. I asked Develsaa to try to do the heightmaps for me to make the normals with. This is a totally new thing for her artistically, but I'm sure she will make them wonderfully.
so, yeah...lol the pack will have full bump support very soon. (waiting to see what sonic ether's new bump shaders add for us to work with... he is changing the rendering a bit, so they will have to be adjusted to work with his shaders as well as normal glsl shaders.)
Grugsy rocks for being so patient with me, I am totally lost when it comes to what I am doing, so please give me a bit still to understand - And I also got severely sidetracked with Redpower2 - Here are some more screenshots of what I've done today - However again, please keep in mind this is half resolution.

Great to hear. There is an unofficial update for v10 of sonic ethers shaders.
I was forced to make your pack compatible with those shaders. It is not a hard process, but apparently you need the pictures from the spoiler and the environment folder of the SEUS adjusted texture pack. For the water png's in the spoiler just line up the purple color with where the water in your terrain.png file. The blueish color will follow the purple and fall into place. I am sure you will do your own lightmapping, but for now you can study the environment folder from SEUS adjusted.
Edit: I guess the SEUS mod that is out is rc2 for SEUS v10 so you can expect it to be very similar.
Here are the edited water textures. Credit to zatoichi: for original pic and the tip to change re-sizing interpolation to none.
For the clueless: There is a tutorial on how to install these into an existing texture pack. You can watch the tutorial to see what to do, this just makes it easier for you by skipping a few copy pastes and re-sizes.
@robizzle: the version that is out does not have bump-mapping... I like those shaders, but without bump-mapping they are missing a lot of detail that it adds. however his water shader looks amazing with this pack!
he is adding bump-mapping in the new ones, which means waiting for optifine to add all the mods from mcpatcher correctly, or the shaders to be fully compatible with mcpatcher. (not to mention shaders aren't ctm or better skies compatible, so a choice has to be made there)
you see what kind of a pain this all can be for us artists that use the shaders? lol we have to do two versions for them... hopefully the api will fix this. oh please let it....

Xion - Yay I redid the marble that you liked, glad to see you like this one, too.
What do you mean you don't want to go to a rave Grug? le gasp!
Not too sure I follow you here.

Well, I really like a few elements of your texture pack. I am skimming the Texture artist's union thread too - I think I'll pm you!
@Develsaa: me, turn down a rave? I think I would not. tcha.
(sorry...picking up language from the series I'm readin...lol)

Amazing!! Better than I would've expected!
