Just a minor design nitpick, but with so many soft designs on everything, having hard edges and small details on the furnace make it seem like it's too different from the rest. Just needs a little tweaking, I'm sure. I really like the way the fire makes the grating a silhouette though!
I'm not really sure what you're referring to by 'small details'. Do you mean the flame design or the grating? The flame design might be a bit extraneous and removable, but I think the grating is necessary to pull the texture together.
Also, my first take on the furnace had the refractory bricks looking much like the netherbricks-- big and chunky. However, it looked pretty bad in-game, which is why I made the edges finer and sharper.
Well, when I download it, it's just one file inside of it (terrain.png). I put it in the folder where you put textures and it didn't work . . . I'm sorry, I'm new to this, so . . . can I get some help?

make sure that when you put it into the texturepack folder, it is still a .zip file, and hasn't been extracted into a folder.
That's an MC patch problem. Make sure your version of MC patch is up to date and matches your minecraft version. Then make sure the 'HD textures' box is checked when you patch your game.
Glad you like it!

*caresses BAN button and laughs evilly*
Really? I can't stand it looking back on it now. I think it's ugly >.<
By 'lighter' do you mean a lower resolution version? No. I'd have to make everything again from scratch, which I'm not going to do.
Tips for reducing lag:
1) Switch to fast graphics
2) Raise the fog level to Short
3) Turn off the sound
I've never actually played any of those NES games or whatnot, so I don't have any nostalgic attachment to them.
I cannot wait the final release!
Will you make the items?
I play Slave Hack, give it a try!
I was afraid people wouldn't like them, being non-traditional and all, so I'm glad they have (so far) gotten a positive response. Thanks!
I'm planning to.

It is in the zip file when I put it in there, but it still doesn't work. D: I do have the latest MC patch . . . (Well, it says 1.2.5)

Like some bits of red dust scattered around the fossil? I can do that.
Whoo! Approval from the pixel art master! My life is complete. :3
You sound confused. :3
Wow I don't even know where that is. D: -Feels noob-
1. download MCpatcher
2. open Mcpatcher.exe
3. click patch.
4. run minecraft
