Alright everyone, so the time has come. The Bluebird official community continuation project in beginning! I updated the OP with details on what is needed, what the requirements are, etc..
So, let's get this project rolling!
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
The official Bluebird continuation is underway! Please come and help keep the pack alive!
It's sad that you can't work on this as much as you used to, but hopefully with the community's help we can make it even better. I'll probably be making some textures myself
EDIT: Do you have an item texture sheet? I know you need a full revamp, but this could be like a base for us.
Unfortunately, I do not have an item sheet anymore. I do have all of the old versions of the pack still, so here is a download for the last version that had items in it. (Unfortunately, in this version the items and textures folders got merged at one point, so the whole thing is just a mess...)
I'm not entirely sure if it's already done (if so, please ignore this) but I made the witch texture in my spare time.
It isn't too special, but IMO it looks good.

so i figured the wooden pick axe is just three blocks of wood on a stick so i did a model using the oak wood texture (will use respective texture when done) i got the model for the 1st person view, f5 view, item frame and on the ground model.
another thing is i'm going to need to email you the model
oh yeah here are some pics let me know what you think and what i should keep/change
this is very basic and a placeholder texture
don't mind my skin just playing around with what the iron armor might look something like

@Allergy and Taterman, That's great but it doesn't look anything like Bluebird. I'd suggest looking at Peyton's existing mob textures and probably use some of the shading from there. Be sure to also follow the material. Like, the iron armor would have more colors because it's shiny.
@Meow, not totally sure if it works. Looks sort of like an axe.

Now it's starting to drift a little far from Bluebird. I like the design, but shading is off. What you did was use some of Peyton's shading, then started putting too much detail into it. Remember that a simple packs use shapes to achieve a minimalistic look. Start with Peyton's shading from the zombie skin in 3.8 (not the Steve skin because that hasn't been updated yet.) Then make adjustments.
A tip, usually bright colors aren't used quite as much on metal. But when they are used, they're a lot brighter than normal highlights. I'd suggest not using the darkest color and don't use the lightest color quite as much as you did.
You're doing good. Just doesn't mix with the idea of Bluebird.

This is for sure one of the coolest texture packs I have seen in a while! Great job with the plants and wood. My favorite block is stone for some reason

EDIT: I also decided to tackle the Horse GUI.
The witch may need to be edited in the future to match other mobs, but that will not be a problem until they get a more distinct style.
so are you planning on working with the new models?
cause i would be glad to work on a 3d model variation
not to mention i'm learning how to do the meta.inf
for animations
hoping i can contribute!

From 0 to 9, whats your favorite number?

Diamond armor, I know Allergy wanted to make armor so this'll just be an example for now. Tell me how it looks
cause i do like Allergy's iron armor, besides the line through the chest plate.
i REALLY like your helmet
