I voted items, because it will be nice if you did pickaxes, swords, hoes, axes and shovels for start Then continue this, or do the rest of the terrain, you'r call.
Ok
I have some new terrain and items for the next update, so I hope you like them.
Hey, I really like this texture pack, and i have been using it a long time. Do you think you could do some of the mobs and plants next? I do a lot of farming and would like to see some of the farm animals.

Thanks, I'm glad you like using the pack
I am working on the plants and such at the moment. I will most likely work on the mobs with the items after I finish the terrain.
I haven't updated the pack in a week or so due to excessive school work, but an update should be here soon
Im probably the only one thinking this, but would you say the wooden planks need to be changed a bit? The rest of the pack is so complicated and the planks are so simple.

Really? They're my favourite bit! I think they blend together really well and the colours stay true to the original. I mean, as far as planks go, you can't really make them 'complicated'. What do you suggest I do? I'm always open to feedback.

Btw, Now im gonna say what my 3 favorite parts of the texture pack are.I LOVE the way the redwood logs look. They blend so well with the cobblestone!!! And the water...ITS AWESOME!!! The detail on it is just so good! And lastly, The ores!!! I love the way theyre not just in random dots (like most texture packs and default minecraft) but looks more like one ore. And i didnt really know how to make do a reply thingie to What you said before, so i just copy and pasted.

Wow! Thank you so much for that lovely feedback. It's those sort of encouraging comments that strive me to continue with this. I'm so glad that you like it - thanks for your comment!
i think this is a fine texture pack especial since you are only 15. although there are a few things that bug me alittle, first the gravel. too me it just looks like a bunch of colors that dont really form any shapes. i would really like to see a gravel that looks like there are stones or pebbles on the ground. second im not found of the redbrick, too me it just looks flat, unless its just a stand in for a future texture. finally alot of your texture have very visible tiling with very noticeable repeating patterns or light and dark paths like on your grass. i hope you continue, this is quit good and i love the stone and dirt textures and many others

As for the gravel, it was previously a texture with stones and pebbles; it looked horrible. I'm sure you'd much rather like this one compared to the old one, and that's what I'm sticking to.
With the brick, I don't know what I'd really do to fix it; more shading, perhaps? It is a real picture after all.
In regards to "a lot of your textures have very visible tiling with very noticeable repeating patterns", I'd have to say that is a reasonably large generalisation. I've worked for a while to remove and repeating patterns; the only one I need to slightly fix is the grass as far as I am aware. There is nothing that I see that has a 'very visible' tiling error so I would like to know what you think that is.
ok since you asked, i looked at a few textures that had repeating patterns that were distractions. however, ill only focus on the textures that will actually be noticeable, for example the clay tile had both vertical and horizontal dark paths but since you arent likely going to see multiples creating a flat plain above water its not important. also tweaked the colors on your nether rock texture to make a gravel texture which looks like actual pebbles although due to the color and saturation tweaks cause dark paths and repeating paterns not sure how to tweak the redbrick to make it, well, pop for a lack of better words.
gravel
For the first gravel picture, the thing you picked up on is ever so minor. Possibly you being a texture pack creator yourself makes you more critical?
I can kind-of see the netherrack bit, bit once again, I think it's pretty minor.
On the sandstone, I can't really see the sandstone top problem. I do know about the side bit that seems to repeat (I should have mentioned it in my previous post - I forgot). I hope you realise how hard it is an image like that to be seamless, first of all, but then to make it without and tiling errors. I spent ages and ages on that - I'll tweak it some more.
I do like what you've done with the gravel, though. However, I don't want to have the same image used twice. What do you think I should do?
The issues you've raised here aren't exactly as bad as you made them out to be; by saying that "a lot of [my] textures have very visible tiling with very noticeable repeating patterns," it sounds as though they are completely horrible.
All photorealism pack will always be similar, because they use real pictures, or trying to use them. There is no way they'll be 100% different, its only up to author to make it unique. I used LB a while ago, their 256* pack and I don't think its that similar man, maybe apple, but nothing else. Hehe
Keep up the good work here
It's good to see you have some sense. I'm ever so tired of people discrediting my work and/or claiming I stole it, etc.
Why does it matter if the texture pack has dark paths and repetitive patterns? Both of those can be (and will be) used in Many designs you could make without it.
ya sorry i probably should of worded my first post better. im kinda picky about textures and well when i see textures my eyes just naturally seek out the tiles. also i do alittle spriting and make texures for my own pack although im not all that good and im continually scrapping textures and remaking them since im never happy with them haha.
puppy the reason, atleast to me, dark and light paths arent usually good unless used in a intentional way is that it breaks the immersion of the textures and or the game world, you see the fakeness and or the synthetic nature of them, atleast for me it does. irl textures are infinitely irregular so you dont see repeating patterns they just flow into eachother.
Hello! I've never used a texture pack before and I'm proud to say this was my first Needless to say it's quite stunning, and one of a handful of the best ones I've seen (in my opinion), and believe me when I say I've been searching. I wanted my fist one to be well-worth the effort and I definately feel like this accompished that.
I would like to ask a few questions, however. First, I noticed that some of the flora and such look broken, meaning they look incomplete, such as the brown mushroom and dry bush. Not sure if that's an issue on my part since this was my first time installing, but I did follow all the instructions so who knows? Second question: how will I know if you have updated? I have bookmarked this page and "subscribed to this post," but other than that will I be updated, for instance, via email if you update this pack?
Other than that I am very pleased... all I'd like to see is more detail with the animals and villagers. Thanks!
