I'm super excited for 1.5! Not only quartz, (all I care about), but a new version of R3D! Can't wait, this texturepack is so good I don't care if theres no firework or book texture
All you need is another pack (even default will work) to put the textures you want in.
please put a downlaod link of the texturepack,you added the firework textures from default, in here. (minecraft 1.4.7)
or
have somebody updated the pack on his own and give me a download link?
That's sadly wrong. I've never stated R3D.CRAFT will be completely finished when 1.5 comes out. It will include many new textures, but it's not that close to done, but yes, it is true I will release an actual update when Mojang updates to 1.5.
EDIT: The good thing about this new update is that whenever Minecraft updates and there's new textures, you'll still be able to see them, even though R3D.CRAFT doesn't include them. You see, every texture has it's own image file now. They are not bundled up together in one big image file, which is great!

Plz help! I downloaded it and installed it all right and when i go to mine craft then into my texture pack folder and then click on the 1[ (R3D Texture Pack) it doesn't apply it goes to default. How to I make it run???

P.S. I'm on a Mac and I'm using a 256x256 texture pack it's working all right but this one isn't working I have both OptiFine & MCPatcher

Do you have good enough system requirements/system components? 512x512 is known to be quite heavy to apply.

Why do you need optfine and mcpatcher use one or the other they both do the same thing in fact that's probably why its happening i am not sure if they work well together.

That, and most people's computers can't handle the 512x version...
Would it be a 100% version fot the 1.5 ? Or how many do you thing ?

Try not to look at how long it has been since the last update compared to the amount of work that has been done in the upcoming update. I've been very busy and I still am, but I hope that will change when the summer hits, when my school semester ends.
Is the Tekkit add-on going to come out anytime soon?
Not at all, I'm afraid. I won't do any mod-texture-supports before I'm finished with this texture pack, and not before I'm done with all the mods coming before TEKKIT on that to-do-list on the frontpage as well. I might need to do a new poll, since I believe a lot of things have changed.

Curse PremiumThen you must have done something wrong. It works perfectly fine here and nobody has said anything about this.
The file you download is a zip-file. You should just simply move it into your Minecraft texture pack folder when you have finished downloading it.
There's a covering tutorial on the front page of this thread, under FAQ.

Even so minecraft wouldn't fall back to default what would happen is you get a crash log and that is it.
